Andriatos twelfth place in Dubai was our bright spot of january. Afterwards the team went completely invisible in Australia. Not being the only mountain team at the bottom of the rankings is quite comforting.

VDP! VDP!
Nearly fell of my chair when I read the result.

Nice to see Grivko take 3rd although I was really hoping for the victory there, still, got to see the Ukraine NC.
Pretty confused by stage 2 though, it looks like my team set up a reasonable lead out, but it looks like my two GC leaders were part of it, while Kenny de Haes with. His 75/76 sprint stat, decided that Lemoine's 69/70/71 sprint stat was much better. Anyway, I probably wouldn't have won with the Allianz double.
Really enjoying the pace of it and the excitement if this game.

Well at least Hoogerland gave us something in the final days of Toowoomba, 2nd place after a breakaway and some decent points but slightly disappointed in Gesink who just gave up and went for some cheap KOTM points (if he'd won that classification I might have been happier ). Bos' withdrawal hurt a bit too.
TVM placed well in the rankings so far, but it's going to be tough to maintain if we keep getting outclassed in all the GCs.

I just realised that I didn't check the race planners of WT teams for riders with above avg 76,00 riding CT.2 races.
Does this rule count for CT teams as well? I've only got the one rider with an AVG of 76+ (Bos) but he's set to compete in Kobenhavn, Ster ZLM and RideLondon at the moment.

No, it only counts for WT teams.

Chernetskiy in white so far, he seems to be a really good signing for my team

It was already a surprise to see him come 3rd against far better time trialists imo.
Last stages of Algarve are up.
Btw, if you wish a screenshot of one of your riders or anything else, just tell me I can always add something to the reports. |

Well, we did absolutely nothing there. The sprint stage got two top 20 finishes but nothing else happened at all
PS: I hope no one minds, but I've posted a news update in the Teams topic.

Does the third rider in white jersey competition get points too? (Can't find the points table unfortunately)

Thanks. Quite an increase in total points btw. I take it should help younger riders develop faster. Which I welcome.

Volta ao Algarve went quite good for CSC. No stage wins but good results on every stage & a good GC result.

Grivko is something like the third best at prologues in the CT (same stat as Chavenal) he just isn't as great at TTs.
Anyway, it was so hard to read it when I saw Grivko was 2nd on stage 4, but then he came second in the tour, I was sure he had won.
Volta ao Algarve Results:
Stage 1: 3rd
Stage 2: 7th
Stage 3: 3rd
Stage 4: 2nd
GC: 2nd
Hopefully this theme doesn't continue.

It was a TT of 20 km so prologue stat didn't really matter. You should be happy, Grivko did way better than expected. At least I was surprised.
Mallorca 1&2 up now. |

Haller always around in these sprints but never on top. Gerdemann should be ready for a decent GC result.

Machado 7th in Algarve isn't too bad considering he is one of our lower leaders. Hopefully my team attempts to spice it up a bit in Mallorca.

Seeing TTT in Toowomba: First win of the year, cool.
Seeing the other stage results: Kwiatkowski being good on every stage, but he never wins one. Sucks.
--->Thinking---->Thinking
KWIATKOWSKI WINS TOOWOMBA! Yay!
My dev team doing nothing in Algarve was exactly what I expected, shouldn't get my hopes up too high after Kudus was so strong in Indonesia.
Damn that Kwiat crashed in Mallorca though. But I like his spirit to go in a break then
I'm loving the rankings overall, it started pretty good for us. Kwiatkowski leading WT, Bouhanni also up there in Top20 and some minor points make us leading WT team. That could definetely hold on
But Kudus in 20th being from dev team is just awesome. Loving that guy.
