Up to 8th, that's great!
Though it's still extremely close up there.
Thanks for the rankings update as well, The Rider.

Shame Wohler couldn't get that jersey, would've been quite an achievement for him. Nikolaev, Puusepp and Cardoso all did fairly well to finish in the top 20. Especially Nikolaev with a few strong sprints, could well be enough for him to secure a new contract.

That Stage Win for Mathew Busche just may be a career capper for the veteran. A career domestique who can now have a picture for his den.
We were also surprised that young Jack Wilson jumped into the breakaway and held his own. He is definitely going to make a bid for a fulltime ride next season.

Nice last stage. This definitly was a good race for us. Too bad that the other teams scored well, too.
Thanks The Rider for the quick reports and the ranking update

Race went well despite our GC-guy wasn't in shape. The TT implied and the hilly stage confirmed that Reto Hollenstein isn't even close to his best form these days. The rest of the team performed well with Martin Kohler leading the way.
Thanks for the great reports and ranking overview, the rider!

Thanks, Scorchio, and to everyone who enjoyed the race.
Nothing to worry the top 3 there, but the battles for 4th - 6th and 7th - 12th couldn't be much closer. Evonik - Signal Iduna scored the most in the race, which they needed to do, thinking of the rest of the calendar. Really tight battles, right to the season end looking at it. |

I have a question: (How much) Does it matter budget-wise if you promote directly (1.-5.) or as additional promoter (6.-?.) ?

No, that's the worst part. I'd sleep lighter if these battles were mere formalities.
And thanks for the great pace The Rider, made a great race even more enjoyable. Unbelievably important wins here for us, suddenly the battle is back on, big time. Hopefully Mendes can carry over his form to his remaining three races and bring us back in to the Top 10.

I've been away all this week but It's great to come back to another GC podium, I think that must be the 7th of the season for us. It's Zoidl's 3rd time as the runner-up of a stage race this season aswell, despite his consistency I'm a little disappointed he didn't win the GC as he should have put it a stronger TT (arguably 5th best but only 9th on the stage) and the time lost on the hilly stage cost him in the end.
Hopefully the team can keep the push going through to the end of the season and secure our top 10 rankings goal but quite a few of our races left are classics and we've been awful in those so I'm not expecting them to go well, apart from the final one where Schurter should get a nice boost from racing at home.
