Great reporting there, glad you are taking over Algeria (where we expect some decent results).
More and more it is looking like Nutresa are going to be continental champions. I really thought Mendes could have stormed this race with 3+ stage wins, but there you go.
Will do an update in the team thread shortly, after such a superb start we are a bit jaded not to finish with someone right up there in GC. However, Evonik and Nutresa were the only rival teams to outscore us here (or score decently). Borges, terrific again, has to be considered one of the surprise packages of the league so far. |

Nice to see Schurter finish 4th in a race I didn't hold much hope for, especially after his previous performances so far this season.
I guess he didn't follow on the last stage because he was tired from his effort on the previous one although it would have been nice to see him at least try to follow one of the groups instead of staying sat in the bunch.

Feillu rode very solid the whole race, nothing flashy but riding consistently he gets himself a 2nd place finish, which is much more than I expected. I'm very pleased with his effort.

Interesting race to follow. Good reports as ever tsmoha, and a really nice end GC result for the likes of Lierse and Dell who haven't had tons of success this year. Nutresa just add to their collection of great performances.

Decent job from Bravo there, the only thing we could look to at this point in the race was succesful breaks and a 5th place is a good achievement. However the race still disappointing overall.
Thanks a lot once again for the reports tsmoha, you're an absolute trojan!

That's the action I wanted to see from Sayar. 14th is alright I guess but it's very close ahead of him. I secretely hoped for a little more.
Thanks for some great reports. |

(Still catching up, so apologies to TSMoha for no input given the excellent (as always) reports).
This had been a top 5 goal race for Nutresa, so we had a top-heavy team out with both Kolobnev and Beltran for GC with our best available hilly back-up (even mtn goat Ochoa Quintero sacrificing RD's!). If I recall correctly. this is the only race of the season where all 3 of our 'hitters' line up together. Fortunately it paid off!
With rivals attention focussed on Kolobnev it enabled Beltran necessary freedom. He was all over this race from being up their on the sprint on day 1 all the way through. Panned out almost like I had written the reports myself!

Very impressive win by Beltran. He will be a very cool rider once fully developped. But being able to win at this level already is nice. 77/77 MO/HI combination next season (If trained like that), he should be a pretty handy C1 and HC rider, and after that, he should be able to do decent things in the PT.
Your right SotD, Beltran will evolve into a very interesting rider (and yes, that is my preferred approach for 3 -> 4 for him), but I'm afraid it's not possible to move all the way through level 3 in one season in CT. Made the decision at the start of the season that he would already be good enough to get good results in CT, and hence we would accept having to wait 2 years to get to 4.xx rather than loan up the divisons to do in 1 season. If we can hang on to a top position in CT and secure promotion, will have to sit down and work out if can manage to Max him in 2 seasons from that point while keeping hold of him. If Nutresa fail to promote, we'll finish his 3 -> 4 education in CT next season, then loan out to quickly get 4 -> Max.
