Talansky didn't win white though, so why is he in the picture?
Same happened with Txurruka in 2007. He was also third in the U25 classification, but the other 2 were wearing other jerseys

Quick question by the way: Is it up to Quintana to decide which jersey he wants to wear, or is he obliged to wear the polkadots (because it's somehow worthier or something)?
There's an order of precedence
1 - Yellow
2 - Green
3 - Polka Dot
4 - White
You could have added that between 3 and 4 go the national or world champion jerseys.
White takes precedent over national Jerseys. Kwiatowski wore white when he was in white and the national when he wasnt. They look almost the same, but there is a slight difference and he definately wore the white jersey rather then national one when he was leading.
National and world jerseys only take precedence if that rider is 2nd in the classification. i.e. if talansky was us champ, he would have to wear the us jersey and not white

That was some memorable Champs entry with the Patrouille going overhead.

BTW whoever said that Kwiatkowski would beat Talansky can suck it!
That happened only because Talansky lost time in Pyrenees, so he was allowed to join a breakaway later, by which he regained ~10 minutes, while Kwiatek rode his best and stayed high in GC whole Tour. |

lol Kwiatek isn't even a climber. He will blow Talansky out of water if he improves in the mountains. You can turn your USA nationalism off. |

They weren't even going for Talansky at Garmin until the Alps. So you can go fuck off.
