That is a nice haul of points for Kenya Airways. I said I would cheer for the CT teams, but I have to say that I was cursing out most of the PCT peleton during the race for allowing Camano to grab the win! I will be magnanimous though and say congrats to FroomeDog for a fantastic result. CT teams showing some real strength in the early season in C1 races.
Great report Count Arach! Exciting race well reported!

Great report and very exciting first mountain test for PCT teams and climbers, only that they got beaten totally by the visiting CT team, great work from whole Kenya-Barclays team, congrats.
P.S: Why the hell is Camano black? Because his team is from Kenya? Major lol

What a result from Camano . Got him on minimum wage and he's probably paid it off already. Also great too see Ndbri in the next group. Also cool to lead four classifications. The perfect stage

Alright stage 6 posted. A bit earlier than usual but whatever. Anyway the plan for the stages being posted in the next couple of days is to post one tomorrow at about this time (it is my birthday so I don't want to spend all day at the computer fiddling with forum codes) then I should be okay to do 2 per day for the rest of the race.

I am at school so I can't see the pictures, but it looks like the stage went perfectly for us as Tyriion says
I didn't want to get GC lead as that would put probably too much strain on my team early on, and with being 2nd and dropping most of our big rivals we achieved perfect result.
Hope we can continue in the same fashion

I am happy that I had 6 climbers finish in the peloton on stage 5, but have no idea why none of them decided to attack, to attempt to gain any time. However I am still in it with 4 people at 1;38 back. Hopefully my team will show more initiative on the next few stages.
Stage 6 was as expected with a sprint finish, I am kind of regretting not sending a decent sprinter here.

Kip really is a rocket in the final 100 metres, too bad that he just missed out the victory!

Kip is riding really well here. I never thought he was capable of such results. Very nice transfer, rycadinho

OMG!! Cano was so freaking close!!!!
I know i can't be dissapointed with a 4th place for a 77 spr at this level, but OMG!
The mountain stage was mediecore for me, Can't see why nobody is attacking from me though....As i have no big favourites.

Now that Caldeira is good Avelino fails on the line... meh I'm glad the sprints are over here. Congrats to Hollister though, Serebriakov is a very valuable rider.

Very impressive stage 5 by CT team Kenya Airways!
And funny to see how Kip continues his habit of suddenly showing up out of nowhere.

A pretty good stage on the whole for me, Acevedo and Soler showed good aggression, and a great result for Ardila to come in 4th on the stage. Now just 57 seconds back, hopefully he can produce so good climbing to get closer.

Great racing so far in Tachira! The hills were not that important so far so let's see how the favourites will fight each other in the mountains. Marquez already in the lead. Can't really see anyone overtake him but hope for some great mountain stages!
And I'm really dissapointed in myself that I didn't subscribe for this race.

Stunning performance by young Aru, he is really giving it a go! I hope that Castaño was saving himself for the next couple of stages, so he can go for a stage win.

Great day for HTC once again. Amazing performance by Morton and Marquez the leader. WWE and Hollister had a good day as well. But with the performance Morton brought Marquez won't have to worry.

This race is playing really well into the hands of HTC. Can't wait for the upcoming mountain stages.
Nice stage by Mendes and Nicácio too. A 2nd place in the stage isn't bad and given Nicácio's history with hilly stages I really can't complain about this performance either.
