Well it's not really official, but finally I like what Bruyneel does. I'm just hoping it goes official.

Then I misunderstood you.

Why are you celebrating that, because you like or because you dislike Andy?

Yes.I dislike him. Making him mad is a job well done.
Not that I like Frank anyway.

Meh, I'd like Frank to ride on his own. Without Andy dependence. |

Well, taking Frank out of the Tour could even up Andy's chances, although this Tour really isn't suited to him.. after all 2010 was his best year, with no brother helping him. But not sure how would Andy react if Frank was taken out not by a crash or an injury, but instead by Bruyneel's choice. Anyway I don't think it'll happen.

Agreed. Andy wont win this Tour, no matter what. Still, his chances are way higher without Frank. For some reason everyone except them seems to see that.
And as you said, Andy would be really mad at Bruyneel if Frank isn't selected. Not sure that it would favour his chances, since it might heavily affect his motivation. He just needs to see that he does better when he doesn't look after his brother.

Seconded. They're both great climbers, but they're wasting talent.

If that´s true, either the Schlecks or Bruyneel will change teams in 2013.

Basically, Bruyneel called Frank's bullshit at the team hotel, and there was a huge fight.
This may be the one time in my life I'll say this: Bruyneel is right for once.

Yeah, Frändy made us all agree with the Hog. How awesome is that? Way better than winning the Tour. Frändy for Vélo d'Or, subito!

What's hilarious is that he's fighting the Schlecks because of their "only the tour matters" attitude, when he's the one who started that attitude.
It's like the americans arming and training the taliban, only with less deaths and more lulz.

Michel Wuyts, commentator for Sporza at the Tour of Belgium, has had a talk with Hilaire Vanderschueren (team leader of Vacansoleil at the same tour) this morning.
Vanderschueren just came back from a training camp, where the team explored the Tour De France mountain stages. According to Wuyts, Vanderschueren told him he stayed at Hotel Roma in Albertville, where he learned that the hotel had a booking on the name of Schleck just a week later.
Vanderschueren said to the hotel manager that it surely only had to be one Schleck, but the hotel manager confirmed that it was actually both Schlecks who would stay.
According to Wuyts, this would indicate that Frank's abandon at the giro was definitely planned. The question whether or not Bruyneel was part of this plan, is a different story however..... |

Martinelli criticism on Kreuziger:
https://velonews.competitor.com/2012/0...nce_220605
These people at Astana are morons, to my standarts it is not nice to say these things still during the race and before the two important stages. On the other hand, he is right at many points.
I think this is the end of Kreuziger in Astana, Nibali will replace him and Kreuziger to OPQS? This is long term plan of OPQS owner Bakala, the team with many czechs and slovakians.

yes i think that is a very probable scenario but only if contador does not sign with them
i really dont get why you would talk about your own rider like that during a race but i think that s just astana |

I'd like to see Kreuziger at OPQS. Could work well I think.
Any team should be preferred over Astana. Apart from Team Schleck of course.

Yeah, Astana team does not seem to be the most kindly place on earth. When asked about this criticism, Kreuziger replied he will talk about it and about how it goes in Astana when he will be in another team, that also suggest he is going out for sure. (and that he is pissed)
Also he said he still had big cramps yesterday, his body seems collapsing or what. And if he will not regenerate well, he will maybe step out of the race today.

that sounds pretty clear to me but maybe that s just the heat of the moment
quite sad to hear he still had problems yesterday i really hoped he could get a result as good as last year if not better but that was gone anyways and he probably wont be going after a stage win now
i dont really get the criticism though because he seemed to be in a good shape before and he is a great rider i think you cant really do anything if you get cramps its probably just a mistake in the stage like not enough food or drinks rather than in the preparation...

It is really strange, what happened at Wednesday, he was okay before and it was not food and drink related according to his words. Maybe it is leftover from March, when he was racing Tirreno with antibiotics, but who knows, they must run the tests.
But speculations are the biggest problem is in his head. He was extremely talented and successfull at the very young age with his wins at Suisse and Romandie. He was even better in all aspects than Nibali that days and now it is completly opposite. The results generated enormous pressure and Roman seems not able to handle it.It is even harder in Astana, where the pressure is extreme. Maybe he will need to ease-off from his ambition for a year or two and race with clear head.
