Another one of those great Nadal vs Federer matches, not quite as good as their Wimbledon match 8 years ago, but still one to remember. Both parties kept on fighting. Really a fairytale story for Federer after being out of the tour for 6 months last year and being able to win the AO Open. Really incredible! Roger doesn't mind a good ol' cry either.
Crazy momentum shifts in that one. Was definitely worth getting that really early for. It looked like Roger was done, and Rafa hit that one forehand into the net up a break and just lost the momentum. Amazing tennis and an amazing match all around.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy
One of the best matches I've ever seen. Didn't feel like 3hours when I was watching it. Really was rooting for Nadal, who I think could have put himself into the Greatest of all time spot with a win.
Overall was a great match, Nadal and Fed looked even in that first set, and then Nadal looked better in the middle and I thought he had the match, but then Federer took his injury timeout and seemed revitalized and had the momentum from there at the start of the last set.

Australia beat Czech Republic 4-1 to reach the quarters in the Davis Cup as well! They will be facing the US in a battle of the old foes.
Young Jordan Thompson won both of his matches, while Kyrgios also won his match before being replaced by Groth once the tie was over. The doubles pairing also looks very good!
So.... that was interesting Fed Cup match between Konta and Cirstea... never seen anything quite like that before at any Fed Cup or Davis Cup or tennis match in general. Nastase seems to have just completely lost the plot this weekend.
I like the Fed and Davis Cup's. The atmoshpere is really different to normal tennis. But it does seem to go over the top a bit too often and perhaps the ITA should look at tightening up on crowd behavior in these competitons.
