He'd have been nuts to leave Movistar anyway
Apparently, Movistar are planning to change to a Luxembourgish license for tax evading (as if I needed more reasons to hate them, thanks Eusebio for making it so easy), so they'd need to re-sign all the contracts, and that's why Astana could, in theory, sign Quinatana.
Not that I think it's going to happen.
Seriously? Tax evasion? Kind of insane, but I guess it puts Quintana up for grabs. Quintana will be good at pretty much anywhere, but I hope that OPQS gets him with Uran already aboard.
Millionth team to do it. Same reason almost every athlete lives in Monaco or Switzerland

'Trainee' or 'Stagiaire'
'Probation' means you're being watched by the police and will go to jail if you commit any crimes

In that case, Renshaw is retiring.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

I just heard from a very trustworthy source that Renshaw will sign with OPQS.
On a more serious note, OPQS signed a 21-year-old talent who listens to the name Julian Alaphilippe. |

They should sign Petr Vakoc from their feeder team too, if they've even got roster space.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think only three WT teams are currently registered outside their 'home' country: Cannondale and BMC, for sponsorship reasons, and the team created to show the world the greatness of the Kazakh dictatorship.

True. And then you see mentally challenged fans cheering their national heroes. National heroes who of course have only one flag, and it's supiciously similar to the €500 note (not that I blame them, the blame lies in the fans).

Didn't know that. Only just saw it on Sporza.be. |

Good. Very good.
Young talent is needed in that team.
And to be fair, with Stuyven and Jungels on board, they have two of the most impressive upcoming talents.
Silvestre and Afalaci are not that that standard, but especially Silvestre has the necessary skills to become very good rider.
Cannondale with great trio. Seriously, Cannondale is the 'Ajax' of the cycling world.

Astana was LUX once (till 2008 I think), but now its license is Kazakhstan. RadioShack is also LUX, while they are more American team I think, but Trek will be American next year. |

There are more teams than just the World Tour ones.
And 'Sponsorship reasons'? Yeah, no.

Yes, but for a small CT team that could be vital for survival, which is not the case for a big budget WT team. Not that it stops being pathetic and despicable though. You're probably right about BMC and Cannondale too, but it doesn't make Vomistar any better.

Malori to Movistar which gives them a really strong trio of good timetrialists.
Intxausti has renewed there

So Lampre signing shitty old sprinters and sending away a great time trial rider.
I think Malori can do very good at Movistar. |

Anthony Charteau (Europcar) joins Retired Riders after the Tour de Vendée in October.
He says he's getting old and can't find his 2010 level anymore. |

He's unhappy at Lamre because they didn't select him for the Giro.
