Hey, not related to renewals (only a little bit), but what i can do if one of my riders out on loan, the loan clause wasnt fulfilled? (Roman Seigle - max it loan clause)
That was my fault but it was also resolved last season. Roman Seigle has to reach max xp. Roturn and SN reached an agreement with me at the beginning of last season and I was punished with the withdrawal of race days from one of my top riders And I had to participate with 1 less rider in the race where Roman couldn't participate due to race clash.
And it wasn't due to bad planning, I was simply wrong when calculating the Xp I could get with him. All of his race days were used in the most efficient way and I just had no way of getting him to the required xp. But the deal was already concluded and that conclusion was only reached during the planning of race days. For that I was punished.

Thanks for sharing. I guess the punishment might have made you miss out on automatic promotion (although you'll still go up), so I suppose it did have an effect.
Everyone might think of the penalty whatever he wants - personally, I would like to see something like this written in the rules. Although I definitely trust the admins, it just feels a bit random what happens if... I mean, if we get the transfer sheet wrong, it's clearly stated that we can lose one of our strongest riders. So it'd be good to state what can happen if you miss out on loan clauses - in the rare case it can't be fixed with just modyfing planning, as in your case.
Whoever did the stat gains therefore just wasn't informed about this particular situation - or had forgotten it. Actually I think it's a good thing that it went missing, so it might get written in the rules now.

Upps.
The time gap between last offseason and the issue and stat gains, which I did last week basically was too long to remember this.
Obviously Seigle will get the level up, which I will adjust next week in the next version, he then obviously going to ask for a different wage demand in renewals.
About punishments, we could indeed make it more transparent in the rules. Most ideally it doesn`t happen anyway as we usually check all loan clauses and usually it`s possible to fix it in case of mistakes, which makes a punishment not needed really. In that case, the problem was indeed, that it couldn`t be fixed at all. |

If you're waiting on R1 (or answers to another round) feel free to give me a reminder. Can always happen that I missed somebody.

DB v3: https://pcmdaily....DB_v3.xlsm
- fixed the issues with Nations etc. for new talents in v2
- new talents
- Avenir eligible list
- minor stat gain fixes
yet to come (probably in post renewals DB)
- training eligible list
- new team names
As the talent addition worked a bit different this year with a balanced talent stat card board and new riders were added into that afterwards, it`s not really helpful to add more talents by now as this would mean, we change the actual consideration and the balance. |

The 2023 Pre-Renewals DB v2 will become a true collector's item in future years
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Definitely like v3 more than v2 (although stats probably were the same, didn't find the same riders due to the wrong nationalities)
Can't complain much about new additions. However, a bit disappointed that Bushwacker's suggestions of bumping some useless riders haven't been considered at all. So the DB is still cluttered with riders who won't ever get a contract. With 3 teams more or less focused on Switzerland, the offer of useful riders only partially matches the demand. Well, I guess there are some fun talents from other countries as well, no need to stay 100% Swiss anyway
Thanks to the DB/additions team for your work, I have full faith in you that you did your best to create a balanced DB

Just going through the talent list and noticed some stuff:
- Tijl De Decker should have a big D (intended)
- Jenno Berckmoes is more of a puncheur then a cobbler
- Andrea Piccolo should probably be the biggest Italian talent, he's a bit underwhelming in stats and potential
- Ben Tulett definitely deserves some love
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
