Awesome Reports, especially on the last stage. Thank you for that!
A race to forget for us, our team was even too weak to do something from the break. That's a very concerning outlook for the Grand Tours.

Good to be done with the triple Under 200 points I believe for the three races for us, so really not much to see, but at least some good performances here and there, with the stage results here in T-A being the highlights from the triple. Vingegaard dropping a few places today, but all in all a solid debut race from him.
Congrats to cio on the GC win!
I think we landed 400, and we brought everything we have bar Lecuisinier. So that's slightly concerning

Agree with SN and Croatia, fantastic report Ulrich, I was able to follow all that chaos really well! Cool stage with that Dombrowski attack as well, with a brief moment of fear for Herklotz, but he's just too strong. Congrats cio!
Also, just lovely to see Areruya on the podium, what a ride all week!

Great reports indeed.
Aular done very well in this last stage, gaining GC places and a nice 2nc place at the stage and in youth rankings. Brozyna and Stancu did well too. This was the lowest scorng from the triple header, but im happy for that. All in all a goodish triple header, in the absence of Tenorio. |

Our last stage was less successful. Guldhammer paying for his efforts a bit. Slips to 7th on GC, which wasn't quite what I expected going into the final stage, but is very realistic on the whole.
Not gonna let it get me down though. 7th is still fine, and we ended up with four PT stage podiums from this race. Our heavy hitter addition made imself known even if he had a few hiccups. It was awesome to see Warbasse attacking too even if it didn't amount to anything ultimately. Hope we can be similarly prominent in the Giro later this year.
Absolutely amazing reports Ulrich. Just an absolute joy to read. The detail, the angles, the writing, all spectacular. Thank you so much for providing them!

Thanks for the nice reports! And congrats Puma for the deserved and in the end dominant win as also to all others, who got something from this race, in especially eBuddy for that late and well earned Dombrowski push forward.
It's Huski Chocolate now
And what a great way to have our first victory in the new colors.
Dombrowski really made up for a poor race in the first 6 stages. 2nd place in the GC, a stage win and on the podium in both secondary rankings is a very good performance in the end.
Thanks for the reports.

Upps. My fault.
Being a lot on mobile only last month and all new mg stuff got forgotten again I guess. |

Two gifted stage wins to end the race in the spirit of Christmas, and sadly no KoM jersey thanks to that and the weird category system, but overall I'm very happy with the outcome of this week in Italy!
Thank you for all the kind words.
Silvio showed that he can dominate if he wants to and if he has a somewhat functioning team around him.
Particularly the latter condition worries me greatly though, it's been mostly a no-show from Vasyliv and especially Stüssi here, at least when it came to chasing early attacks.
On the other hand, occasional great performances by Egger and Zimmermann were much appreciated. And of course the duo Herklotz/Kämna has a 100% GC win rate now.
Although it wasn't much fun to watch these two stage wins slip away, I'm very happy to see them go to those teams!
Both Xero and Huski got their revenge for stages 3 and 6 respectively in the end, and take great GC positions from the race. Congrats!
And as mentioned by everyone else, I loved the reports that accompanied this successful week, thank you a lot Ulrich for making the race even more enjoyable.
(I do wonder if the custom WC jersey for Silvio got lost on the way though...)

Jersey had wrong suffix (should be world not wc), Fixed in my install should I do any more of his races (Giro?). I have noted it in the reporters forum.
Thanks for the all the kind words. It was a fun race to do, shout out to the AI, I thought both the Areruya and Dombrowski long-range attacks made sense and were well handled. Group maybe should have chased more on S6 but it was pretty much all leaders.

Wow, absolutely amazing final stage. Gutsy ride from Areruya and incredible to stay on the podium, I had no aspirations at all of that before this stage. To hold on to third and the white jersey makes this an absolutely incredible start to Areruya's career at max stats and to announce himself to the PT against some of the world's best. Higuita going to the break and winning the KoM with Novikov is huge, I really enjoyed the appreciation he got from Ullrich as one of the race's real action men, he was everywhere for us and I hope he can continue in this vein and have a really fun year with these stats. Add a stage win... wow, we are really doing ourselves proud so far this year.
Still not even lifting my expectations off the floor in terms of the big picture, but I'm glad that so far this is still going to be a fun and not so embarrassing year for us. Obviously Areruya only has two more races so I know not every race will be at this level! I'm looking even more forward to the Giro and Vuelta now
Thanks so much for the reports Ulrich, can only echo what the others have said here that the reporting was super enjoyable and really well done, so thank you so much for that. Congrats cio, I'm still getting to know the PT field but I guess this Slivio Herrglotz guy is pretty good huh?

Epic last stage! Thanks for the great reports Ulrich.
Overall I think Karnulin and Sosnitskiy rode a solid Tirreno and only got beaten by very strong riders in GC. We had a good triple header.

Just missing out on the podium is a shame, but Pluchkin has at least shown to be great rider still which bodes well for the Tour and his other goal races later this season

Very good reports Ulrich, especially the last stage. Happy that Sivakov is getting better every race and taking the King of the Mountain jersey back home always is a nice bonus.
