I guess Arashiro got the memo. He's literally saving this race for us. If can hold on to the KOM lead, that would be huge in a race that was looking so bad.

Lol we have no right to keep doing as well as we do in this race Guess it’s the anti-California in that respect. Thanks for the reports Nemo and congrats Bikex!

A very entertaning race to watch, but with all the chaos and drama I'm really glad I skipped it
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Well, at least David did the right move. That it does end with a disappointment, is no surprise anymore. Wasted race days for Howard, too. That's a bummer.
Thanks for the reports though!

Zepuntke robbed of an epic solo due to that puncture, would have put everyone else outside the time limit.
A race to forget, at least Zalgiris overtook us in the teams classification.
Thanks for the report Nemolito and congrats Bikex!

A big race of "what if" for us. Kump needed 3 more points, which is a single better placement in a sprint and then he would have taken home the green. However a decent set of points for due to good depth and having maintained a good teams classification throughout.
Thanks for the reports Nemo and congratulations to Bikex on pointst that very well could end up being incredibly important for him in the PT!

Altur finally showing something for the huge investment we made in him, and i'm always happier to try and fail than never try.
But of course Wolverine was our best rider. Training eligible next season... i wonder if we choose to sell Ewan and Altur for cap reasons how good we can make him...

I'm not happy with this race but its also no complete desaster. Blythe climbed to 14th in GC which in itself is kinda solid after his bad first stage and is within the margin of error of what could be expected but also could have scored 50 more GC points without anyone being surprised. But after his results during the last month i cant complain about that.
What is more disappointing is that those depth riders that did well on stage 1, did badly here and the same can be said the other way round which means that despite good depth on paper, our next best guys are in 47th and 48th place. Also Eislers was a total disappointment here so the scoring outside of Blythe was pretty much non-existant.
I like that Naud went into the break today though, that is the sort of bravery and aggression that i expect from those that are no favourites themselves.
Congrats to Bikex for a massive result and thanks for the reports.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Yes! Great job by Kasperkiewicz to defend his yellow jersey here. Although I must say Summerhill seemed surprisingly weak and it didn't look like he really tried. Hsu and Vanthourenhout dropped some more positions than I had hoped but still a great race from those two. It's unfortunate from a scoring perspective to have riders finish in 51st, 52nd and 101st but obviously with the lucky GC win I can't complain.
It's a massive result regarding the rankings and Kasperkiewicz showed me that I did the right decision by paying so much for him!
Thanks for all the congrats and thanks for the great reports throughout the race, Nemolito! |

While a Top 10 would have always been a bit unrealistic, kind of hard to believe that not one of my riders could get into the Top 50, since two are 77 or above on cobbles.
Atleast Arashiro got the KOM, showing he's pretty much always going to be our best pprd rider.

Thanks Nemolite for all the great reports and congratz Bikex on that win! Kasperkiewicz resisted very well, I have the same opinion Summerhill definitely didnt look like himself in this last stage, but eh from first to second overall the point difference isn't that large, likely compensated by Vanspeybrouck's surge to 5th.
