Finally! But my word is Reinhardt the rider of the race, forcing it to a tyre width against the Pocket Rocket

Good to see Ewan finally winning after so much misery for him and his team this season

Wild that Munyaneza still has that KoM jersey from stage 1, just one more day and he could actually win it. I would appreciate it if he went into the break again ...
Congrats TMM, good to see things working out after that horrible start!

Oooh, so close...!
But I definitely won't complain - 2nd podium in the race, points jersey, within 1 second of the GC leader ahead of the final stage - what a race by Reinhardt! He's being incredibly consistent, taking a Top 10 on every stage so far. And that leadout by Stocker was amazing - it worked out against everyone else, but Ewan was just a bit too fast.
Bissegger taking an intermediate sprint is very cool, too - although the white jersey is really just a matter of luck in these races.
Congrats to TMM, finally Ewan delivers - and should have a good shot at the GC win! However, in general the sprint AI is really crappy. I mean, why should Reinhardt keep up with the top sprinters and get 4 Top 10 finishes in as many stages, while many stronger sprinters (on paper) don't? Even though I'm really stoked about Reinhadt's performance so far, I'm feeling for those who are paying their sprinters even more, and they simply don't do anything useful... I really hope that will improve in a future version of the game.
Thanks for the report, SN, and thanks for the details concerning Stocker.

So far, nobody went into the break twice (at least not if they gathered seconds), so I think it's something AI-wise, as I would also really appreciate Quispe or Baugnies trying to gather some points in the last stage
Even though Hayter didn't do anything in the attack, I was still happy that our loanee was there for the first time this season Thanks for the report SN, and congratz TMM!

Guarnieri was very good at wheelsurfing when he didn't get a train in the Australian races at the start of the season, but here he's just been following Veyhe until the sprint for some reason... The stage win from stage 2 somehow keeps us in the race despite only getting 10th, 8th and 12th on the other stages, but we need to perform on the last stage.
Congrats TMM!

Heartfelt congrats to TMM!
Cav wisely chose Ewan's wheel to get a very valuable 3rd place and a great shot at a good GC finish.
Thanks for the report SN.

With the final stage of the races 2 important questions need to be answered in this stage:
1. Will we have a 5th different stage winner?
2. Can Caleb Ewan hang onto the yellow jersey, or will he be yet another victim of the "curse of the yellow jersey"?

An absolutely awful showing from the AI here.
Guess we'll be at its mercy for a long time.
I'm very happy to have contributed some cash to the Manninen training this off-season though! Congrats.
Sucks that Steimle loses his projected one U25 point on the very last stage.

Absolutely fantastic reports though. Great reads for a neutral spectator like myself. Just tough to watch teams being screwed over.

This race has been a huge letdown - only 1 stage win which was our only podium finish (or even Top 5) this race with an overall finish of 8th. In hidshight, 8th is decent given the circumstances, but not enough especially if a team is fighting to stay relevant in the PCT division. Guess we'll have to score everywhere we can and see how our nearest rivals fare.
Congrats to Atlantius - Manninen is the 5th person to win a stage and the final person to wear yellow in this year's race. He was a bit more consistent compared to others with 4th in Stage 1, 2nd in Stage 3 and the Stage 5 win. Sorry TMM for Ewan being struck by the "curse of the yellow" (I share your pain), but hey - 4th in GC is still better than 8th. And congrats to SN for the 5 amazing stage reports.

Saber's miserable season continues
Thanks for the reports SN and congrats to all the winners
That Manninen training is really paying off Atlantius

Hmmm, we were always there, but our train (if we can name that) doesnt seems to work.
Maybe next time
Congrats Atlantius and thanks for the reports, SN. |

Very good race for us, fantastic to see our train in the last 2 stages. Never expected sending both Zabel and Guadini to work this well. A lot more points than expected from this!

Reinhardt unfortunately saved the worst performance for the final stage. Given that 8th place on this stage would have been 2nd in the GC, this somewhat hurts...
But overall, we can be more than happy about how this race went. Top 5 GC is absolutely great given this packed start list. Furthermore, Cissé's 7th place on stage 3 is worth a Top 15, and Bissegger winning an intermediate sprint by chance gives him 3rd in the U25 standings - which in total makes almost 100 points for us in this race. Great job!
Congrats to Atlantius, perfect timing to win a stage, avoiding the curse of the yellow. And thanks for the reports to SN, very entertaining!

Well I guess that went as well as it could after that first stage. Dzervus' unexpected points basically make it so Guerao finished 4th, so maybe I take that? At least he Oscar showed that he can kinda consistently somewhat sprint

Guillén's best sprinting result was a 17th place, but I can still leave this race a happy man. Decent depth points (way more than expected/could have hoped for) because of the attacks by our flat beasts. Even home rider Ulloa in the attack on the last stage, too bad he couldn't grab two or three seconds on the way to Juarez. Thank you very much for the reports, SN!

At least the rest of the team tried something to avoid the zeropointer. But come on Bonifazio, not even one top 10 in 5 stages? I know on pure speed he can be beaten, but that he's not even around to contest with his stats is just ridiculous. It's not the support either, ok it's not a sprint train but enough flat support to keep him comfortably in the front.
Not to hijack the thread, but I think the changes to the profiles only made things worse. Without the turns in the end a front group will just get away and everyone left behind is screwed over. I think it was less the case before, where the corners in the end forced everything back together. It feels to me that sprints this year are worse than ever, to a point where you could call it gamebreaking.
Thanks for the reports and congratulations to Atlantius!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
