Wow, already three stages in. Awesome quality/output ratio, tsmoha!
First podium since February, so needless to say we are more than happy. The whole team performance is a joy to watch, we really need results like that.
Only letdown is the injury of Martin Kohler, hope it won't turn out too serious.

My team might as well not be here at the moment
Time to shape up and get in the offense! |

I really should have taken this race sending Olivier...Seeing how Cataldo is performing here, I guess Olivier wouldn`t have been much worse and surely a top5-10 candidate seeing his performances so far this season. Together with Aru I guess some nice scoring here.
Finally Intxausti delivers a little bit. Though GC wise this never was a race for him. Not the most ideal choice. Same for a couple of others.
Already looking forward for late June.
All races in between I don`t have the highest hopes and it might end as worst part of the season for me as already started in Dunkerque. |

Good stage performance for us. Happy with that. Cataldo looking good for the overall now. Dont think even Kwiat will claw that back on the final hilly circuit.
Good to see Inxt. grabbing a stage here as clear favourite. Ridicoulus to think that this is his first win this season (?).
Now, plz get a stage win guys in pink

Great performance from Cataldo here to move into GC pole position. Just gotta hope Kwiatek attacks on the last hilly stage and it's as selective as the previous one. Otherwise I'm still pretty pleased with 2nd and a stage win here. |

Thanks tsmoha.
Well, where to begin. Not with stage 1.
Stage 2. Mansilla, just super strong. Stage win was his, were it not for the break. Great show anyway.
Stage 3. Crazy. Four massive names going down, even though they were already well dropped on the stage amidst all the other carnage!
Stage 4. Iglinskiy amongst the worst tells me he is badly injured, shame.
MN needs some luck so I'm saying he will hold the GC, would be a good GC win. Has been a great race for Team Vontobel and cycleYorkshire s/b ASDA - Savers, so far. |

Yeah agreed, as i've said before i've mixed up here and Boily was meant to be here and Intxausti somewhere else will find out when I see Boily in a mountain stage race.

It's his first top 5 and I think his 3rd top ten on a stage he's finally hit something like form though
For me it's great to see Intxausti hitting some kind of form I just hope it was bad daily form hurting him at the start of the year |

Expected more from Tvetcov in the TT, really underperformed, still 8th and 9th in GC is nothing to be mad about, Ikibe should really say bye bye in the next stage, so we can still move up at least one more place here.
Great race so far, hopefully stage 5 doesnt wreck our hopes and dreams!

Great report, amazing!
Nice victory for Intxausti! The SanCor boys did what they could but this MTT was never our biggest objective here. Our race can finally begin, with some distance back to the GC, we can go onto the attack! |

Cobo not too bad there moving himself up to 6th in the GC. Hopefully he can break that Top 5!

Kiserlovski doing exactly what I hoped of him in this stage but after yesterday's disaster there is still nothing to cheer about. |

So in the end it looks like we will pick up our usual anonymous top 15 unless we get another crazy hill stage, wait, maybe it's too early to count that after all judging by how the last one went.

Heider. Sure. Well, I take it.
Nerz obviously slightly injured which is so ironic because I sent him here for the simple fact that he can't possibly mess up the mountain stage, and yet he does.
Arndt, Herklotz and Bongiorno waaaay too far down and Bol with a horrible TT too (worse than Bar, wtf), yet still okay in the GC for some very strange reason.

The Fuji ITT is always a little weird, never entirely going off Mountain stat. Tends to be Bibby's weakest Japan stage so I'll take 7th, and certainly pleased with Tekle in 10th. Both in the Top 5 now as hoped. No guarantee they will both stay there, but would expect Bibby to at least keep 4th now.

Stunning! This trip to Japan gets better and better. Never imagined we could make it into a position to win this race... but after all I've seen from Dario the past months I'm confident he'll make it.
Whatever now happens it seems to be a great race for Swiss teams as Saggiorato won last year for Sauber and Actavis was holding the lead as a CT team.

Whaaaaat a shitty race for us. Let's just forget this as quickly as possible. Only a win for Matthews on the final stage might salvage something from Japan.
Thank you for the report. |

Hmmm let's try and see the positive.
None of the DNF are of SanCor Cycling Team! Hooray
tsmoha, you are a legend in the ManGame reporting. Quantity, quality, you've got it all. Wonderful job you're doing! |

Not a good stage there from Cobo and the rest of my team need to join breakaways.
