Marantes continues his form, giving us an amazing run of finishes near the front. Just need him to break through and get a win.

Stage was less selective than thought before... maybe to short.
Anyway, Pirmin Lang will win one of the next two. I'm looking forward.

A quiet stage for the team. Hopefully that'll change later on...

This should have been one of the more selective hill stages, mostly thanks to gentle/average slopes.
Next two stages are fascinating. Hilly rated but decidedly easy which opens up a range of possible outcomes.
And they will both come tomorrow

Now, Mendes within range. Only 19 seconds. Come on Jose, be special once more.

Zoidl tried to gain more time over Arroyo but it wasn't to be, still at least he's looking the stronger of the 2 now which should help limit his losses on the mountain stage.

A quiet day for Neil Van der Ploeg, hopefully he will shine in the remaining stages |

Another episode of the lazy-bunch-syndrome... and even then Pirmin Lang just finished 7th in the sprint (if it was a sprint after all). We need to work much harder to create the preferred situation. Every day counts when it's likely that we'll lose our great overall positions in the final climbing stage.

Great to see that my guys could finally be convinced of doing something. That a second place results from that is equally good.
I hope they continue to chase their chances

Would've been nice to be represented in the break again, but I'm also happy with Sai-Udomsin in 7th. A performance I didn't expect from him. |

Perfect stage as far as we are concerned, the break got away without any GC threats in it so we were happy to let them take the stage as it prevented Zoidl's GC rivals gaining any of the bonus seconds. Just one more stage before we find out if Zoidl can stay close enough to Arroyo and others on the Mountain stage.

Okay, Pirmin Lang won't win a stage here, but a least Montaguti seems to be in great shape.

Arroyo tried to go today but Zoidl matched him all the way, I'm surprised that Arroyo didn't place better in the sprint for the minor placing's. I'm hoping it's a sign he's not quite at full form as I think he needs to have a slight off day tomorrow for us to hold onto the leader's jersey.

Nice efford by Lukas Flückiger for his best season stage so far.
Next is Andrea Manfredi's turn to get into the break.
If Montaguti is able to limit his time loss tomorrow and stay in top10 overall, Guatemala could've been worth the visit.
