I hadn't done an advert in a while....
But no. I just wanted to do something a bit different, a bit unique. I won't ever win so i'm taking my chance

I didn't read any posts about it, I don't even know who 'Karl Hammering' is, but all my answers are correct, because of my amazing logic (I'll post my pm after this round).

Hey anyone got a Wiki on Karl Hammarling?
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

@trembmc - Patience young padawan
Round 3 - Karl Hammarling
1) Name a place that has hosted part of the Pearl Izumi Tour Series (formerly Halfords Tour Series)
Home of Karl's former team, and site of a great Pete Williams victory, Stoke-on-Trent gives out the most points with 6 picks. Durham comes second, another successful ground for Node-Rexona. Other than that everything gives 1 point, and no-one mentioned Karls first ever winning location of Aberwystyth! Both The Hobbit and trekbmc gave incorrect answers.
Spoiler Stoke-on-Trent x6
Durham x2
Edinburgh x1
Colchester x1
Oxford x1
Woking x1
Redditch x1
London x1
Kirckaldy x1
Manchester x1
Earth x1
2) Name a member of Karl's family
Uncle and former DS Mikel Hammarling takes the points here with 4 picks. Cousin and sprinter Johan was picked 3 times. The only other multiple pick was Erik Garner, Karls son, with 2 picks. Dippofix, jihardy, knockout and trekbmx with incorrects this time around.
Spoiler Mikel x4

Erik Garner x2
Karl x1
Tobias x1
Hannah x1
Kristian x1
Erik Snr. x1
Great-Grandma x1
Dog x1
3) Name a month when Karl Hammarling was nominated for an award
Karl Hammarling broke records in the SotM competition! As of yet it's final nomination, May takes the most points with 4 picks. Close behind is January with 3 picks as was the incorrect October. Incorrect was July but it gives Bikex and sieve 2 points. 2 points also goes to those who picked November. trekbmc, The Hobbit, jihardy, pylarz, bikex and sieve all made incorrect answers.
Spoiler May x4
January x3
October x3
July x2
November x2
April x1
December x1
September x1
4) Name one of the real life people who i used to illustrate Karls girlfriends
Real life cyclist, former fiancee and mother to Erik, Lucy Garner garnered 4 points (get it!). Real life actress and playing the part of Hannah, Natalie Portman netted 4 points. Real life actress and playing the part of Natalie, Cobie Smulders scored 4 points as well. All three correct answers scoring equally. baseballlover312, pylarz, jihardy, sieve and trekbmc were all incorrect.
Spoiler Lucy Garner x4
Natalie Portman x4
Cobie Smulders x4
Girl in stock photo x1
Kate Upton x1
Martina Jancikova x1
Pencil x1
5) Name a rider who has raced on the same team as Karl
Former teammate, and part catalyst for the big drama of Act 1, Luke Rowe scored 7 points! Way behind was current teammate and good friend Wilco Kelderman with 3 points. The Hobbit and trekbmc were both incorrect.
Spoiler Luke Rowe x7
Wilco Kelderman x3
Tobias Ludvigsson x1
Keough x1
Geraint Thomas x1
Andrew Magnier x1
Marcin Bialoblocki x1
Michal Kwiatkowski x1
Hammering x1
So on to the round scores. matt17br takes the win for Round 3 with 22 points! Marcovdw and knockout tie for second place just behind on 21 points. SN gains points back on Bikex, 20 to 16. trekbmc scores 5, but gave 5 incorrect answers negating this acheivment. sieve scores 6, but 3 incorrect answers again lowers this achievment. TMM scores the lowest of correct scorers with 9.

The Overall standings are interesting with only 2 rounds to play. Bikex still leads, but SN has cut the gap to just 4 points! pylarz is still in the fight just 9 points off the top spot. Tons of close battles right down the field, with TMMs last place being the only safe bet at this stage.

All my answers were logical and correct, especially for someone who doesn't even know who you are talking about but for some reason, you said my answers were wrong.
Here is my pm:
1) Name a place that has hosted part of the Pearl Izumi Tour Series (formerly Halfords Tour Series)
The Earth
2) Name a member of Karl's family
Who's Karl? and his family member is: his dog
3) Name a month when Karl Hammarling was nominated for an award
I official nominate Karl Hammeing for the Karl Hammering award, therefore it's September.
4) Name one of the real life people who i used to illustrate Karls girlfriends
ummmmmmmmmmmm.................................. who's Karl again?
Well you used a pencil to draw his girlfriend, so the answer is: A pencil.
5) Name a rider who has raced on the same team as Karl
Karl Hammering

Interesting to see Stoke so popular as a Tour Series option. Bit annoying not to have picked it then, since I went there to watch it one year

I would not say so. I'm not too sure if Karl's family has a dog (?) and "A pencil" is not the name of " a person" and he didnt draw anything but used pictures of RL persons and the story was not officially nominated yet..
Btw, i think Karl is a member of Karl's family. Don't you think so?
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!
