Very annoying to lose time with two of my big climbers, but I guess that may help to pick one leader, so Agudelo and Vasquez can just become strong helpers.

Hmm. Not too worried about the crash. Hopefully that means Pellizotti does a little bit better in the end!

He will be a great sprinter in 2 seasons. Unfortunately not in my team.

But seriously, he's frickin' awesome so far!
Wow, just wow! I never thought there could be such a big hype around this guy already in this season. It's really nice that he is already even getting some points now.. He will be a great sprinter one day, especially after some training.. Big thanks to both of you that you help(ed) me getting him on that level.

hmm, will make for an interesting race but yes this is very annoying. Hopefully my guys attack like hell for the rest of the race to make that time up.

Looks like Prio could have a frustrating year with Caldeira ruining Avelino's season by not being good enough to leadout

What a "gutsy" performance by Popov. We might not be thte rain makers so far, but Popov has shown some solid performances... And even Bogataj has shown that he might have a very bright future...

Marquez finished safely so that calls a good day for us. Now comes the stage I worry about most. Marquez hill stat is pretty bad, but surprisingly better than most GC candidates here so I hope we can avoid any time looses to big contenders here. I am also hoping this stage has some mountain ratio in it and is not categorized fully hilly, that would be very useful.

I am quite surprised by the effort Pineau has put in so far. It's been better than expected.

Finally Kip wins after so many ruined leadouts already this race, it's impressive how much you can do wrong
Very happy Thire is the constant in this scenario, staying level with the other trains or even making up groun.

Guess who took the 5th place.
Hopefully, he can improve his position when the competition gets worser!

Nice work for Ghafari, hopefully as the competition disappears in the mountains he can improve on his low top 10's |

You got that right. If Avelino is to be beaten in every race where he doesn't have more than a leadout man, then it means I've wasted a bucketload of race days. This sure complicates my preparation for next season.
But hey at least this makes for a democratic division of the sprints here in Venezuela. Let's see what the next few stages have in store. Hopefully the climbers won't interfere in the hilly stages.

The sprinters sharing victories on the flat stages. Looking forward to the mountains. Will be intresting to see what happens on these first stagesas the hill stats of the contenders here are all quite low.

Fantastic display from the team today, too bad it didn't pay off in the end.

Wow Kenya Airways are really making an impression here. Stage win + overall lead + team's ranking lead + KoM lead for a CT team is an extraordinary feat in such a race! Congrats for them.
On the other hand Bintang have been struck by a lighting twice already. So much bad luck for them...
Nice that Nicácio was the first of the peloton, that kinda gives me some hope for him

Pleased with the stage... Tondo in the initial break, Khripta with a strong showing and a Top5 by Izagirre? Hell of a presence by my team...
But Kenya airways have really shown that they are a force to be reckoned with... Congrats...
