Playing Omloop Het wiht Lotto Belisol, Lars Bak as my leader with Willems and Roelandts helping him. I decide I don't want to chase the break down until the gap got to 16 minutes with 90km to go. By that point I thought it was too late, with 10km to Bak joined the front group of 19 but was outsprinted by Boonen and others too finishing 10th, after my team doing all the work that pissed me off. I had my entire team on the front for 90kms working at 89-99 effort. Before sending Bak of to close the 1 minutes gap that still existed. Not happy

Racing the Volta a Portugal and the third stage was a complete mess. With 85km still to go the peloton was reduced to 22 riders and I had Nordhaug in a one-man breakaway to try to get some points in the KOM.
With 15km to go it was down to 6 riders; Sicard, Velits, two that I don't remember and from my team; my created rider (leader) and Ulissi.
When we came to the bonus sprint, Sicard and Veltis sprinted away and even though I was relaying with Ulissi at 95% they gained over a minute... After a decent climb by me I came in 3rd, 1.15'' behind Sicard and 22'' behind Velits. The only reason I'm so far behind was because the AI refuses to reel in anyone unless you are there!
It is sooo tempting to reduce the form of the two down to 60 or something... What massive idiot placed that sprint bonus there?!!! |

This is sort of a continuation of the previous post; appearently PCM did f*** me up the ass good enough during the last stage. I win following stage with a bigger gap to Velits and Sicard then they had to me. Somehow, Sicard beat me with 1.15'', but when I win with a BIGGER gap to him it's only 25''... |

Now, close your eyes Viviani fans because this really is shit...
3rd stage in Calabria Viviani survives the hills and surely is one of the fastest still inthe bunch. Viviani starts his sprint with Marcato and Frapporti in his wheel. Viviani is a bit collapsing near the end and Frapporti comes close but Viviani is still in front and he raises he's arms just to be beaten by Frapporti wait a second this isn't over yet...
In coppa Etruschi Oss does the perfect lead out for Viviani and he looks to be winning he's in front and suddenly Hondo came very fast. Viviani is still first so he raises he's arms but Hondo beated him "Frapporti Style"
So in two consecutive races i get 2nd with the same riders because of celebrating and starting to early!

Don't celebrate s early. You have to work your way around PCM's wacky sprint momentum.

Not that celebrating changes anything in speed or something else, but it's worse to celebrate and win

Was on x8 on the first stage of the Tour of Catalunya, I had Bille in the break and was dropped (the break made it aswell), as I was focussing on Bille, Van den Broeck was dropped from the peleton and lost a packet of time, GC over so just stage wins now

Computer kept crashing in one race when fast forwarding.
So I rode that race at x1, it was over 200km.
Just when the peleton had finished, and I was just patiently waiting for the left-behinds, it crashed anyway... |

Argh! I have to revive this thread...
I played Milano - San Remo in my Sky career (first year). EBH was my leader and I managed to keep him in front, even caught Cancellara and Ballan, so that it came down to a sprint from a group of about 15 riders. The only other fast men were Ciolek and Boonen, but they were pretty far back so I was optimistic. EBH followed Thomas and with about 5 kms, I set Thomas on dot to move to the front. He choses the left side of the group - and immediatly, the riders in front of him move left and my duo gets caught between them and the wall.
Meanwhile, Ciolek leads Boonen easily to the front on the right side of the group. I have no chance to get through the riders around Hagen, and when he finally can start his sprint (with 1,8 kms to go), Boonen is already 500ms in front. Hagen at least finishes 2nd, but with that speed he had, the win would have been a sure thing...
Been a long time since I was so frustrated playing PCM...

I was first in a Tour and in the bigining of the last Mountain Stage I was block in the first Mountain for 10km!!! Then a group of bis contenders decided to attack and I wasnt able to get them back and lose the Tour by 4 seconds!!!
In real life I have never seen a leader ho wasnt unable to get to the fromt for 10 km eben is he has good Mountain skills. |

Fan-f'ing-tastic! I'm in the 2nd stage in Tour de France and I've got EBH lined upf or the sprint on Farrars wheel. With 0.7km left to go I launch my sprint since Cav, Boonen, etc. are coming fast from behind. I press "Sprint" and guess what happens...
... nothing. EBH didn't accelerate at all, he didn't even move out to the side. He started the sprint animation, but didn't do anything. Because he didn't move at all I ended in 5th place when I would have won it easily. Now I'm gonna have to replay the stage for a 4th time!
The first time it was the "sprint-bug", the second time the game crashed and now the sprint-bug again...
I absolutely hate the sprints in this game, there's a reason why I simply simulate every single flat stage in PCM.

Now I remember why I stopped playing this game for a while. It makes me want to rip my hair out in frustration, just simple aspects of the game.
Such as, in a small select group, a rider in your team can just fall straight out the back of the group when they're feeling great, or going up a mountain 21km out from the finish you send your only rider, who's feeling great, back to get some water, the nhe decides to just fall out the back, then while wasting energy trying to get back on, crashes and abandons. He was leading the GC too.

Another simple aspect though is to never send riders go get water while climbing But the crash and abandon is really unlucky indeed.

I never usually do, but the pace was really slow, my rider had no water left, and hadn't for some time an was the last left in the group

If you're on the dot (say 65) and you enter the last 15 km, heartrate suddenly shoots to 190. So annoying, because all you do is lead out the other breakaway riders.

Sure it's not just your rider that automatically follows the rider in front of him - which apparently rides quite fast.
I don't know if that's what's happening, but I could imagine that it would follow the same pattern, as when a rider who takes a lead in the peloton suddenly takes the wheel of an attacker, which increases the pace of the peloton significantly. |

Cyanide logic. If u have pleanty of space left and right but a slower rider than u in front of u, u just cant pass him. U will stay behind him until the other GC contenders catch u, just to see how sudenly ur rider can pass him and u wasted alla your efford. Solid model riders SUCKS!!!!! |
