Looks like there are going to be some big changes on GC! Just tuned in, this looks like a really nasty uphill TT.

Tejay overrrated his effort today. Mollema bossed that climb though!

Devestating day for TvG - not only has he had a poor day in the TT but he is knocked out of the PCM Daily most popular rider contest too!

It's about finding the best compromise between comfort, drag (a TT helmet naturally has less), weight (the TT helmet has less), and the time loss a change would cost.
All/most teams probably did a simulation with both type of helmets and either decided a helmet swap was better (Pinot), or that normal helmets were just fine (most riders). |

Well deserved to see Costa take not just the stage, but also the GC win! Frank really went backwards, even losing third to kreuziger

Well deserved GC-win for Costa, way too strong for everyone! Great TT and second place for Mollema! He's looking strong for the tour! |

Matthias Frank Hoped he could atleast hold on for a podium but what a bummer it turned out to be for BMC in the end.
Well deserved win from Rui Costa though. Strongest by a mile

Plus the top 5 classification is the stages for Mollema, third today, 2nd and 5th he also got. |

I mean this one. Which is basically a compromise between TT helmet and normal helmet. It should have way less drag as a normal helmet during the first part. Only rider using one was Kreuziger but only for the climb.
Those bananas totally fuck up the lay out...

Well, as long as they've realised that it's pointless to back Gesink and go for Mollema instead, they could have a good race.
Good chances for a stage win or two, plus a top 10 in the GC.

Awesome time trial today. Costa divided his energy well, TVG didn't.
Mollema surprisingly strong, too |

Missed today's stage.
Sounds like Costa was really good, Mollema looks very strong as well!
Also, 73th for Kelderman is really, really bad. What the f*ck happened?
