GVA made a good attack going into the final gravel climb, but I didn't like that one, he is the weakest climber there and if he could have made it to the final plateau he would have had it.

I want to see Stybar lead a team in RvV and Roubaix. He is such a power house.
What a great race. Strade Bianchi never diappoints. |

Strade Bianche was a very great race to watch. It was nice to see Rosa finish up that high. |

Very nice win by Lampaert, I hope he gets a chance in the bigger classics as well.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Strade was a great watch, very entertaining. Lots of eyecandy and three great riders battling it out for the win, with Vanmarcke being impressive once more as wellm what a fighter he is. Valv was in clear cut favourite position but he couldn't equal the power of neither GVA nor Styby. Stybar's celebration showed how important this was for him after the past horrible months. Fantastic day of racing. Like Miguel said, Strade never disappoints.
GVA, Stybar and Vanmarcke are hot for the classics. Cancellara & Sagan, I don't know, they just disappeared in the race.
@Guido: Vanmarcke got on one of th elong climbs. At some point he couldn't hold Valv and Stybar's wheel anymore who were chasing GVA.

Again GVA "just" second.. He is always so close but still something missing to make it. I dont know if he needs more luck or whatever but I feel sorry for him. Great effort on the final climb from him though.

He has the same problem that a lot of other guys are having at the moment - there are a huge number of punchy sprinters out there. In his early days he was one of the best at it behind someone like Gilbert. Now there are lots of guys like Sagan, Kwiatek, Gallopin who all have similar skills to him but are much faster finishes. So he has to attack to finish them off but he isn't that much better than them as a pure puncheur either (and in some cases arguably worse). His best bet will come in cobbled races where some of the guys either can't follow him or won't participate in the races.

Cancellara and Sagan were totally blown. Not good sign with just 5 weeks for big event. |

Guardini winning in Langkawi?????!! No come on, that must be wrong
Looks like he really got much better this year though, seriously. It's not even his first win of the season, and that's the most incredible thing
