He has every right to be. Triple Olympic Champion, owned many world records on the track, has won most of the races he has been in this year.
And that gives him the right to be a cocky prick? Or as he would say, f**king wankers and cunts?
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

So is being successful a justification for being a dick? If so, how much success do you reckon is necessary for someone to have the right to behave like a friggin jackass?

If Mourinho gets shtick for it, I don't think such a level of success exists

He gets paid by a sponsor though. Which sponsors a team for exposure and public relations. Calling people names is not exactly good for P.R., if you want my two cents. |

You obviously haven't been following British news recently the company that owns Sky has been involved in phone-hacking so they aren't exactly high in the public eye right now |

I might not have followed that as closely as you, but I'm aware of that scandal.
Still, I don't see how Wiggins behaviour is going to make them look any better in anyone's eyes. |

I wasn't saying it wasn't but reading the comments on articles by the BBC News, he still has the overwhelming support of the British public |

Nibali why u no say wut u think?
This is stupid, instead of explaining what happened he's acting like a spoiled 5 year old and basically saying "I don't like what Wiggins did but I won't say what it was".
Either say it or shut up.
Uh, he says it like 3 times in the article?
According to Nibali, Wiggins taunted him at the finish. He turned, looked him in the face and waved as if to remind Nibali of his presence.
There's me thinking things couldn't get much more entertaining and now we have a petty, childish rivalry to enjoy to boot - bring on the low brow entertainment I say!
Nibali's had a few digs, dismissing Wiggin's abilities in the last week, now we have this from Wiggin's (I did note the odd look not a wave) backed up by using words like "desperate" describing the downhill attack afterwards.
Some professional sportsmen seem to have an extra gear to go to when it comes to the purile. More playground antics to enjoy over the next 10 days please

Just watched the last 10km again - such a great finish. All 5 took a turn of looking totally out of it and then possible for the win.

Anyone know what Evan's was referring to "Nibali attacked when there was a little crash behind me. I hesitated and missed an opportunity. There are no awards for sportsmanship". Rogers puncture maybe? :/ |

Maybe Wiggins was checking to see who was with him at the finish? I don't know. |
