I'm With Stupid 2014/2015: Attempt #2
trekbmc
hopefully that's my bad round, then I may be able to get a tad higher in the top ten, if it's my good round or average though. Pfft

What a mistake with all those ignorant here. Pfft

I was going to switch to Augustus for that reason, but since it doesn't have to be the correct answer I stuck with Julius which did OK.

Tomorrow it's Christmas, which also means the deadline. If you still want to submit, you have 26 hours left. 11 submissions so far.

ok, no rush, I was just wondering.

I've sent it in right? Last time this happened it turned out that I sent it to the wrong account (well maybe no account).

Here I post another way to post the results of the rounds:

https://www.pcmspain.net/t4376p60-esto...ida#110921

I´m running this game in PCM Spain. We have finished 1 complete game (5 rounds) and 2 users tied!

I hope you won´t mind on copying the game in other forum (where I am running CTWWYPCM too, with some success, not as here Pfft)

Phew! A relief to have only lost 10 points at most on that round, I guess having only 11 people going for the big answers helped me here. Also interesting, nobody got the 5 point maximum on both questions 2 & 3.

baseballlover312
God Dammit I could have sworn I sent my answers but I think I put it off because I couldn't think of the Chinese one.

In any case Henry VIII was not a British king as Great Britain did not even exist.

The Economy Round

Name a country with a GDP per capita of under 2500$

The best answer you could give here was only worth 2. Kyrgyzstan, North Korea and the Central African Republic brought this score. Even the incredibly wrong answer UK brought half that.
Spoiler
2 Kyrgyzstan
2 North Korea
2 Central African Republic
1 Zimbabwe
1 UK
1 India
1 Rwanda
1 DR Congo
1 Ivory Coast
1 Ghana
1 Afghanistan

Name a stock exchange

New York was by far the most answered. Co-leader SportingNonsense ruined his chances here by being the only one answering London.
Spoiler
12 New York Stock Exchange
1 London Stock Exchange
1 Bolsa Mexicana de Valores

Name a bank

Spoiler

Yup, once again the best answer only brought two. Saxo Bank, Tinkoff Bank and China's Bank brought this max score of two.
Spoiler
2 Industrial and Commercial Bank of China
2 Tinkoff Bank
2 Saxo Bank
1 ING
1 Wells & Fargo
1 HSBC
1 Barclays
1 Bank of England
1 Citigroup
1 Privatbank
1 JP Morgan Chase

Name a market structure

Monopoly was the clear winner here. Co-leader Dippofix also lost any chance of a good result thanks to not answering correctly. SN managed to answer incredibly wrong with Dow Jones as well.
Spoiler
8 Monopoly
2 Monopolistic Competition
1 Duopoly
1 Free Market
1 Dow Jones
1 Capitalism

Name a winner of the Nobel prize for economy

The obvious answer was this year's winner, and he won this round as well... No other answer got more than 1. The Hobbit refused to google for an answer here.
Spoiler
11 Jean Tirole
1 Lars Peter Hansen
1 Milton Friedman
1 No answer

Once again not a single perfect round. 5 people won the round together though. fjhoekie failed in scoring a 5-pointer thanks to Kyrgyzstan.
