Some of the placements surprises me here, both positive and negative. Feel for Lierse here, Gavria finally maxed and starts with this result...

And there we have confirmation that this was maybe 1 season too many for Mohs - should have released him!
Congrats Xero on the win and thanks for the reports roturn

As for Yates, wanted a little more than 20th but it's asking a little too much of him to compete with the top sprinters. Need more hills!
One more (training) offseason, and then he matches Houle in terms of sprint

We really need those hills to be decisive, or we will not get a single point from the GC standing |

Better. Let's hope we can sprint again tomorrow.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Good win for Strava alumnus Tosh vdS. Bouhanni having missed the MOL express, it was a lost cause to get into the Top 10 today. Better lucky once than twice mediocre at least. Also nice to get Kluge in the break today, shows we might be also more active the next couple of stages.
Thanks for the report, and gratz to farfetch

This is a good start... I'm not used to good starts
Great win for Tosh there, and will be interesting to see how he goes tomorrow - while he's not on the level of a Houle or Kump, he should be much harder to drop than most of the other sprinters. Hopefully he can stay in the front group, and if not Turgis seems pretty attentive so far. |

An okay stage result and not much more. Good sprint, but didn't quite get the positioning right this time. Taking over the leader's jersey ahead of stage 3 could turn out to be really important, though.
Another slightly surprising win, meanwhile. Congrats, jph!

Slowly making progress! Disappointing to see the AI only making Nelson sprint and not Kek or Aberasturi. PCM18 still looking decidedly average in sprints.

Yates picking up a few bonus seconds before what should be a very interesting Stage 3 is a very good sign. Should help that Houle won't be wearing leader's jersey for the next stage as well.

Well I wasn't expecting much but that was a pretty awful follow-up. Hope S3 goes well for Houle and he can hang onto the front group whatever it ends up being, or at the very least Meurisse can do a good job if it is too hard for Houle.
Very happy to see Tosh winning though, a rider I miss a lot and am glad to call part of the wider Xero family

It is not a bad start for the team, Silvestre twice close to reaching the podium, and in the first stage it was great to see Paulinho at the front as it could make a difference in the GC

Obviously with the parcours for stage 2 I wasn't expecting Kump to win but would have hoped for a better placement than 8th. On to the next stage which will be where we'll get the first proper look at what the GC fight will look like.

Edmondson still finishing high and looking in a good position heading into the first hill stage. Wippert showing himself again but not able to get a top 10. Still not a bad day for our GC hopes!

Some "random" results so far. Nice to see Houle doing well though, as he was a bit of a disappointment last season.

Wow so does Ulissi legit sprint in PCM 18? Turns out I've only had him for the single game where punchy sprinters were broken.

Yates got completely blocked in and still managed to grab 6th. Would have been interesting to see if he could have kept up with Marko Kump with an open road in front of him. Good to see Luca Wackermann in the front group as well, but a rough day for Xuban Errazkin kind of offsets that.

Love the pace, thanks roturn.
We came with shallow depth, and were found out very quickly. Too bad Kreder lost the connection, could have been a good sprint for him as a more human variant of Kump.
Gratz to the winner.
