That was boring. Please go back to the old route, this route is too easy outside of Kapelmuur when the race isn't longer.
I think everyone feared the Muur and wanted to wait. After that, there was a head wind until the finish, discouraging attackers.
And thats why you change the route back to the old one. Easy solution, it always provides good racing, this route wont |

Although I only saw the Eurosport transmition, I know that there were at least two GVA attacks before the Muur.. The race was indeed hard but the wind may be the main reason behind the large groups, not the route.
It was headwind for vital parts of the race, including the run-up to the Muur (thus ALSO discouraging far-out attacks)

The headwind played a part, but if you really looking at the route, its pretty obvious its too easy outside of the Kapelmuur. Therefore it makes very good sense to wait to that point
I hope they go back, but I don't have a problem with them staying put for 1 year. If its a boring race again, go back. |

Well, I'm still amazed by Van Aert's performance yesterday. Let's see who handles the cold well today, it's really freezing.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Was anything up with Terpstra btw? Didn't see him at all during the race.

Well he did win on the Champs Elysees last year, but this is definitely a nice win for him.

I'm a big fan of Omloop but have actually enjoyed KBK over the last few years more. Personally I wish they would put KBK first and then Onloop second and we might see more tired riders in Omloop which would make it more interesting with splits etc, as Omloop shouldn't be a bout the peloton catching the leaders before the end.
.Yep Goreonewegen is the in form sprinter so far with Viviani and both imo good bets for MSR even though I think in that race Groeewegn would be the better bet. I can't see Degenstache or Kristoff winning as MSR is a race that very few riders win more than once, not even Cancellara managed it and Sagan has yet to win it even once and his characteristics are perfect for this race.
