Fantastic result by new recruit Zabel to get Suntory's first win of the season at Tropicale Amissa Bongo S2 and without much support from his team mates looking at their placings.
Sadly wouldn't have time to participate in live chat but an archive of any conversations could be useful to get a flavour of the race.

Don't see much benefit to a live chat of racing, wouldn't that basically just be MG style reporting?

Decent ride by Vanspeybrouck, who wore the points classification's jersey for two days, and made a top 15.

Good to see Kozhatayev keeping up with the big guns. A top15/20 is a realistic result by now, scoring us some valuable points.

Wow, (almost) perfect start to the Pro Tour and couldn't be happier than seeing Van der Poel in the leader jersey, my fav rider. Two wins here, only downsight is that Bananito was dropped in the Time Trial, which sort of was expected. All the better that Gallopin and Feranndez are up there, too. We have a solid lead, three riders in Top 5. Hope we don't screw this one up. THanks for the result, bikex.

Loved the start! Shonak with a pretty perfect start (congrats!) but S1 was pretty good for me, too. S2 proved me right that i was one of the big TTT favourites but sadly the two riders that made the front group on the previous stage (Geyer and Sagan) were the dropped ones which sucks. Boom is still in a good GC position so we've got this going for us at least.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Oh boy, here we go dropping team leaders again. Only 2 seconds, but still..
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Tropicale Stage 3 - more to come tonight, 4 and 5 in the next 15 minutes.
Okay start in Toowoomba: Mohoric on a nice run, Kelderman and the TTT underwhelming. Strong ride by Liberty, they're nailing it right now!

Our team in Gabon is probably one of the weakest all season, so any points that Gatto can bring us will be fine. I'm not sure if a GC top10 is feasible for Gatto, but i'd like to get it

It was a bit disappointing not to see Ponzi participating in the sprint in stage 2, as I had hoped his improvements in Sp and Acc would be enough for him to at least try.
Anyway great victory from Aregger in the 3rd stage, Puccio with another solid result as well.
Edit:
Stage 4 was a very good team performance, Pellaud in 4th was actually a bit shocking.
5th stage Ponzi was fairly invisible again unfortunately.
Thanks for the reports so far Croatia!

Great to see Sola tied for 2nd in KoM Gatto still on that short group of riders in the same time, and his "great" result in flat stages can bring him a better count-back than others. What really surprised to see Bennati in the top15 of the stage until i scrolled down and saw that he was in the break

My all Southern Hemisphere team doing what I expected in Australia.
A whole bunch of meh but good to see breakaway presence and Sam Spokes staying in the top ten fight. For now.

Great couple of stages in Toowoomba by GVA. Our first win of the season as well The TTT has basically ruined the GC for us though!

Fuck you PCM. EBH to get a good GC now... But Kreuziger should never have been able to get dropped with his TT stat.

Schorn is doing great, 3rd on stage 4, moved up to 5th in the GC. While poor McCluskey was the only rider to get dropped from the peloton on stage 5, finishing 6 minutes down. Let's call it a character building exercise. I also like the screenshots of the BotD and like winners from the BotD, congratulations to Breen and Statoil for barely holding off the charging peloton to win stage 5.
