Shame that the break didn't get caught, but I didn't bring a train so I can't really complain about that.
Good stage to build up the tension for tomorrow's stage, thanks tsmoha |

Wonderful to get something more than XP from this. Just what I had hoped for!

On the day Krieger puts in his best sprinting performance of the season, they get foiled by late attackers! Would've only been 4th otherwise, but still...
Congrats Atlantius though and thanks for the report!

Thanks for the top notch reporting once again tsmoha, but I hate this race.
Spoiler I know there's more stages but for the purposes of this annoyed post I'm gonna pretend there isn't because Langkawi is dead to me.

Yeeeees! This is exactly why we pay so much to Valls!
2 stages + KoM secured + GC "secured" + Points lead (most likely a top3 at the end of the race). This means that we'll go over 100 points again in a C2 stage race (I calculate sth around 120), which is a key performance for any promotion hopes we have, and also for Valls' run for Individual Crown.
And also Serrano helping with some minor points after doing all the work in the final part of the climb. Awesome!
Thanks you so much for the reports tsmoha!

Wow! Never expected Krasnoperov to be 2nd in GC at this point... Still two flat stages to go though, and one of them is over 200km, so no time to party yet.
Fingers crossed for us, and grats Aquarius on the free win once again |

Salinas and Bennett both in Top-10 and two good stage finishes in the mountains. It ain't that bad after all, is it? (I know Bennett's no-gap on stage three was a bummer and Anton cracking.. still a solid race given the competition)

Dario Cataldo got the spot GC where we expected him to be, so without being surprisingly good or aggressive, ok result.
Thanks for another great report

Wow! Just realised that Valls will reach the 300-point mark if he ends in the top3 of the Points Jersey

Oh Solis what the fuck... He couldve done so much better. Uwizeyimana beast, inside top20 and 3rd in U25, but that's little consolation right now
Aquarius! And thanks again for the great report tsmoha.

I don't understand how Bardet can go into the break on such a stage! He did well in the end not to lose further time but this race is a bust again. Props to Battaglin for trying but we're really falling behind now. Timmer too losing his point-scoring position
Congrats Aquarius . And a great report as always tsmoha!

Well it could be worse - it could be Tachira
There just isn't enough points in 6th and 10th to keep us on the right track for a mountains race where I'd hope we'd do better, though Langkawi is hardly the best one for those three. It's also a bit more of a bummer given as you say the no-gap from Bennett on stage three which meant if he got it he was actually looking at a good GC spot for once without being screwed over or in weirdly bad form, because he was strong and I'd say he'd have done better today if he was third/fourth on GC at the start. Antón and Salinas I was hopeful for too after the prologue and not losing stage three time but it was a little unrealistic to think that perhaps considering I've never expected all three to finish in the top 10

Decent from Costa finally. We need all the points we can get. Krieger's peak seems to be 6th/7th/8th and I should probably stop expecting higher now.
Congrats to cycle Yorkshire and thanks for the report tsmoha

Meh. At least Onodera joined the break and made a fight of it in the finale.

Only one day left I'll pray for a big breakaway win in the last stage, so only Meyer can overtake Valls in the Points classification

Krasnoperov holding on and Meyer still in contention for the green jersey. C'mon guys, give me that late Christmas present! |

Another super dissapointing stage from Haller. Brought a massive lead out train for him here and he's done nothing since his stage win.
Congrats to cycleYorkshire for the win, and Sauber looks so strong right now its insane. |
