Würtz turned what was already a good race for the team into a great one. 4th in GC + Team classification is great against PCT competition.
Würtz with a very nice race taking 8th in points competition, 7th in the KoM competition and 5th in the U25 competition. Not bad for a free rider
Thanks for the reports Matt

Congratulations to trek and thank you matt for the reports.
I'm satisfied to walk away with a stage win and 10th. Reichenbach and Schumacher have shown they can do a lot worse, so its good enough. Dylan Page really came through and had a good race here, so I'm also happy about that.

And the break stayed away on the last stage aswell. Shame :/
Still a very decent race in the end though, just could have easily been alot better by both Kump and Costa.
6 riders top 28 is great though, finally depth paying slightly off! Points is a nice result, eventhough it was to be expected.
Thanks for the (as always) great and thrilling reports matt!

Meh coulda woulda shoulda been Tosh, he raced really well imo and a stage win at some point would have been just icing on cake. Good race by Vanendert and Gilbert tho, no major problems here. Gratz to trek and thanks for the fast quality reports!

Sum-up of our stage 5 tactics
Overall a good race. Disappointing to lose the KoM in such a silly way on the final stage, but two stage wins and a GC top10 is more than I could've hoped for at the beginning of the race. Thanks for the reports matt

congrats trek!
shame for Dev to miss out on this final stage and also the overall, Kump was stunning over the tour...
The report to stage 4 might have been the most amazing one of this years MG.
Ferrero with big points here! Stunning performance by Navardauskas, why isn't he in my team? promotion calling loud at Ferrero

Very happy to see him impress myself! He's looked good so far this season, hopefully it's a good sign for the years to come.
Great race for your team here. No surprise seeing you having a good start to the season after your last spell in the game. Would be very surprised if you don't promote.

Just back from holiday to see Kraftwerk have done well in a home race with PCT competition getting top 10 places on every day but one thanks to Stauff, Bontenackels and a fantastic podium from Pokerstars youngster Brockhoff from the break.
We made a great leadout train on stage 3 only for Stauff to be denied our first win of the season by a wheelsucking Kump, so close!
Congratulations to dev4ever and trekbmc, and thanks to Matt for the reports.

Been busy all weekend. Not really a great race for us, even though our riders tried.
Anyway, on to the next one

Incredible race for us. Petit did well in the sprints, and taking 2nd, 12th and 17th on GC is far more than I expected coming into this race. Promotion looks increasingly possible with each passing race. Thanks for the reports Matt! |
