Fuck daily form. FUCK IT. FUCK IT. FUCK IT. This is getting fairly stupid now. A 76 TT finishing outside of the top 20, even though is one of the best here?! |

Meh, Martinez with a not that good tt and not taking the jersey. This could go horribly wrong.
But then, there'salways someone who can save the day, and that Minion was Griffith today

That wasn't great but was to be expected I suppose. Thankfully it's our last ITT until June
Now Soler needs to go out and put in a strong attack on the mountain stage to regain those losses.
Thanks for the report aidan (p/b tsmoha ), made a TT report flow well which is a very hard thing to do.

After Chrono des herbiers not even surprised, but still I'm so appalled by Tennant's performance. Signing a TT star for PCM14 seems to make zero sense because it's a poor man's game coming down to luck. Yeah. Well. More BOTDs now, I want that stage win now more than ever..
EDIT Just saw Canola is 21st in GC and Belmokthar tied for 12th. Maybe Canola will start to drag his ass into bunch sprints now.

Ok, unfortunately I've been away for the first four stages, so I'm gonna go through them stage by stage:
(By the way, I'm not sure whether it was a good idea to bring Mendes. It was certainly some sort of "He has exactly 7 race days left", mixed with some "There are no other races where he would fit in which don't already feature a leader" and "Let's try how PCM handles mountaineous-looking, punchy-rated stages".)
- Stage 1: As we don't go for the sprints at all, Pibernik in the break and none of our important guys dropped is all we could have hoped for.
- Stage 2: Just. Boring.
- Stage 3: Well, f*ck you PCM for rating this stage hilly and deciding Mendes isn't interested at all. Looks like some wasted race days for him. Yay. Maybe we can pull out something though in the next stages...
- Stage 4: Oh, I love you, PCM! Kasa in the lead, I would have never expected that. Probably he won't be able to hold on, but it's still nice for the moment and maybe he can still make it a good GC in the end.

Aaargh this hurts
I guess I can't complain with 2 riders in the top 5 though, but yea it's the minimum expectation with Rolland and Boaro
I really feel for Shonak though It appears that I was right in the preview though
Thanks tsmoha/aidan
Oh, and fuck PCM's AI in the 3rd stage. If it wasn't for that, Rolland would be 1st with a (more than) decent advantage on anyone else

S2: Breakaway (Vitoria)

S4: Tennant

Well, at least I called that one! Makes it a good race for, home team, Sancor.
* That stage 3 was always going to favour a good MNT stat, the massive climb in the middle should have been a hint.
The GC is still up for grabs. Martinez to take it? |

No time lost here, but Martinez is now off the podium with just 2 stages left. Hoping he can still take the victory...
Thanks for the great pace tsmoha, and of course aidan for the reports

What a weird stage...peloton should never behave like this when there are some dangerous riders in the break on such stage.

Baz limits the time lost in the TT and then continues to improve in the Mountains taking the bunch sprint on Stage 5. Just hoping for a final big stage so he can make one final push up the GC
Thanks again for the reports aiden, and to tsmoha for posting

Aha, finally things take a turn for the better!
Getting Rodas in the team was probably my best move ever in the ManGame
Thanks for the report, both aidan and tsmoha! |

And Rodas is on it again!
Interesting to see Kasa still lead this, he could very well take this all the way now, it's all about surviving that hilly stage 6. Lot of potential surprise overall winners just behind him as well, Rosskopf must fancy his chances with it being rated a hilly one.
Thanks for the reports, tsmoha! |

What a strange race. These results continue to get more and more bizarre. The GC's kind of a clusterfuck at the moment, would need a very hard stage to shake things up.
Congrats to sancor again and thanks for the reporting.

Tennant in BOTD, just why... gtfo, most pointless guy in a breakaway on that stage sigh. Makes no sense whatsoever.
Belmokthar with an insufferable beating, losing any hopes for points. Overall only Tennant managed to stay with the peloton, guys like Pfingsten and Einsle additionally dropped. We are just bad bad at mountains.
Two horrible days one after another.. I do not give up hope for a stage win just yet.

Enabling Rodas to get so close to Kasa maybe wasn't the best idea, but I'm basically very happy he could hold on to yellow. Now only one stage to go where he might (and probably will) drop down!
Still, AI was really bad again. Why would you lead the pack by a pace making your leader struggle? And why wouldn't anybody take over the pace when we dropped it? Surely Kasa should have been dropped in this stage.
