Not a great stage but we are well placed with 6 rider in the top 45 for the hilly stage |

Glad the TT is over, now on to the hilly stage so we can see what Ian Boswell has to offer and if we can get a rider in the day's breakaway.

Hopeless from Dempster. Not good from Levarlet either. Just realised that I forgot to send the only rider I have that has a decent tt/hill combo. Yeah, this can only get better.

lol must be a bad day for Stannard if he gets beat by Elijzen
6th is okay i guess, Kono didnt do too bad, hope it translates into a top 10 GC
Even Dennis is in with a shot of the U25 jersey, roll on stage 4

Okay WTF? Cornu just one second faster than Vandousselaere? Well that has almost certainly ruined this race for us.

Some weird random results there... At least I hope this means great racing in the hilly stage.
I fear though, that with Oliveira in a better position than Costa, the AI will blow this for us.
Anyway congrats fintas. This stage was yours all the way.

Surprisingly strong TT by Koren! If he doesn't go into zombie mode in the hilly stage, a good GC is very likely now.
Kangert is also in a good position thanks to a decent TT.
Overall a great start, just like in Down Under. Hope the team actually capitalizes on it this time.

I somehow knew this was going to happen as soon as I saw Boswell there.
WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I see Kelderman finishing 6th overall now just to FUCK WITH ME

Amex must be happy.
Boswell out of nowhere to serious podium contender...
Boom and even Thurau hopefully do well tomorrow.
And good to see Krieger sprinting. 2nd of the peloton. A pity it wasn`t for stage podium though... |

I actually would be happy if Kelderman goes up to 6th.
I see him far below that at the moment. |

I see Puma as a whole far below 6th at the moment.

Finally finishing in a break that wins Good effort from Vink and a few points to his name. He should be able to do a decent GC as well, but I hope this doesn't mean that Levarlet has to babysit him

Bummer stage. Pity to miss out on that break, but definitely stupid to let Boswell and a few others gain so much time here.
Congrats to Gusta anyway.

Poor break made for a Mandri or Cataford both ignored it:/ |

Yeah I forgot mhaley in my rundown of old farts in rundfahrt and he gets one of his young lads in a move of tactical brilliance otherwise known as AI bollocks.
Irritable bowel syndrome had a guy up there, but great news for Prio - Porto. Gusto to Gustav
