It's really hard to obtain young top notch climbers.
We are glad to say we have landed two for rather cheap.

You will be faring well in the PT I reckon. Seems like a pretty wellrounded team. Nothing spectacular, but van Garderen, Fothen, Maksimov, Altur and Barrio should give you some decent points. Ratiy needs to step up drastically to be worth his wage though. He was utter shit last season, and to be honest I would expect similar results from him than you can get from David de la Cruz - Atleast not much better.

@SotD: Realistically I can't see us surviving but it's going to be fun trying. I agree about Ratiy, but to be fair he wasn't exactly my 1st choice either. I needed to bolster two 80 mountain leaders to stand a chance and that was the best I could come up with as panic set in.
If all else fails we should have solid PCT team next year to help us quickly bounce back and try this PT thing again in 2017.

It is always tricky for the newly promoted - you seem to have gone down the roturn route of building a squad that could score in all terrains. Many others have gone for that one really big hitter (the stage race bastards).
I picked out TvG and Cunego as two to go for but credit to you and valv you went higher then I wanted to. TvG is good not quite up there with Hagen, Trofitruffle or perhaps even the Bouygues baker boy but certainly one of the top punchaers.
Altur, Ratiy and Maksimov are risky of course but should be fun to see what they can do.

What a team!
So you promoted to PT recently?
With that team, you should survive comfortably
Though the ManGame stats matrix is still a bit unfamiliar to me, so I could be wrong |

I'd say it's very tight on survival the best thing is there's at least a leader on all terrains that's much better then ING last year so hopefully that will give you a big chance of Survival though much depends on TVG having a big season as I doubt Ratiy and Fothen will be able to managed more then top 15 in the GT's |

@Smowz: Tejay was always on my radar obviously since he is my IRL favourite cyclist. There was a moment after you put up your bid that I threw in the towel and went after the elite climbers instead. But when that backfired I went back and made sure I was getting TVG.
@Ian Butler: Recently promoted. I doubt we will survive comfortable, I plan for campaign fighting against relegation the whole season. I hope we survive but to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if we don't. Yes, we have leaders for every terrain, the question is are they good enough.
@jt1109: I agree 100%
@All: New "special" incoming rider will be posted shortly.

Craddock Completes The Comeback Trifecta
They are a lot of side-stories and hidden nuggets to this team.
"Russian Rocket" Maksimov, Ex-TDF Winner Fothen, Return of Parra Bustamante.
However, all three of them combined can't complete with these guys.
Newton, Warbasse and Craddock. The Fox Pro Cycling Trio.
Craddock winning the Sea Otter Classic in The Comeback.
While Newton and Craddock aren't exactly on the best of terms,
I needed to get someone to motivate my Legend to perform better.
This will surely be an interesting dynamic to watch throughout the season.
Craddock will return to Mobil - Aeropostal Ciclismo after the season.

@jt1109: I had to give up Marc Machado, but it was worth it. I got my cobbles support in the end anyways. (...)
It's not everyday a promising Spanish cobbler comes along.
We are happy to have Marcos Altur leading our cobble pursuit this season,
but there was no way he could do it on his own. So we got him some helpers.

I like how your team looks, even though you will most likely struggle this season. TVG should score a lot of points and might be the rider saving you, alot on his shoulders as you can't trust Fothen and Ratiy to score enough imo

Sacking and Champion's Jersey
Sometimes you have to make tough decision in management.
Sadly Jesus Merino Criado got the short end of the stick this morning.
He was given his termination papers and it had to happen to stay on budget.
The Spaniard was developing nicely under my wing over the past 2 seasons.
I did everything I possibly could to find him a new home before releasing him.
No luck. I wish him the best luck and hopefully he finds a team to ride for soon.
With the release I can now say everyone on our team has been told they
are not leaving and will be in Movistar - US Postal colors this season.
We still have a little money left for training and perhaps a stagiare.
I can't end an update on sad news. So now would be a good time for this.
I can finally post this gem of a jersey by aidanvn13 for Ruben Plaza.
The special NC jersey for the Spanish TT Champion.

Roster Finalized With A Familiar Face
We can now say for certain our 2015 Transfer Season is complete.
Our final signing is a stagiare who rode with Team CSC-Orbea from 2012-2013.
He spent last season in the CT under contract with Team Live Nation.
Serafin José Blanco

Blanco in the BOTD at the 2013 Kenya Mountain Classic.
Blanco will race in the Vuelta a Colombia and GP Liechtenstein this season.
If we like what we see then he will be given a contract again next year.

@jt11009: Thanks. Glad to have purchased Warbasse from you. Will get his needed PT exposure this season and hopeful will be a nice second tier leader in the PCT or super helper in the PT next season.
Throwing money at riders so they get better. Strange, but effective.
Some teams do it a lot, under my management I do it in small dosages.
This season was no different as two cyclists will be getting training stat boasts.
Roman Maksimov / Hill (53 -> 55) | Vadim Ratiy / Flat (65 -> 66) |
It's not much, but it's a step in the right direction for both cyclists.
Speed bumps ruining Maksimov's chance to show of his 81SP and 84ACC.
While Ratiy can ride the flat more comfortably as he waits for the mountains.
Next season training looks promising with Maksimov looking to train more
on the hills with his Russian teammate Alexey Tsatevich who has hopes
of becoming the next Michael Van Stayen but more than likely less OP.
The year following it will be Marcos Altur's turn to start his cobble domination.
The future bright and not just through training considering we have prospects
developing like Altur who will get their maxed out PT experience this season.
After not getting an elite climber in free agency this season's focus shifted
to building on depth for the future and I think I have done that quite well.

Van Garderen Intercontinental Champion!
Ponferrada, Spain - Rain couldn't stop American puncheur
Tejay Van Garderen from bring home Movistar - US Postal first victory
in team history. A monumental debut for the team's PT campaign.
Van Garderen beat elite PT punchuers Bakelants, Spilak, Boasson Hagen and Trofimov while the peloton sat up 13kms from the finish to watch.
It's Van Garderen first victory since his stage 2 victory and overall win at the 2013 Tour of Tasmania with his former team Wikipedia.
It's unclear if Van Garderen will be allowed to wear a special championship winner's jersey like the other continental champions.
If the MGUCI allows it he will ride in this stylish jersey for the season.
If not, it will still be a nice collector's item to put on his mantle.
And a unique kit for the fans to purchase in stores.
Van Garderen kicks off his regular season at Badaling International.
