 Project: Africa The team, first established in 2013 under the name and sponsorship of MTN - World Bicycle Relief, has been dedicated to developing African cycling and bringing the continent's riders to the top-tier of the sport. It has its roots in South Africa, but includes riders from all over the continent.

As you can see, we've been very ambitious with our goals. The current squad is a perfect support base for a strong climbing leader and that is just the kind of rider we plan on signing. Many riders have been forced into the free agency after several teams disbanded during the off season. One of the most notable names who caught our attention was the American youngster, Ryan Eastman. Our American sponsors, namely SRAM and World Bicycle Relief, have said they are willing to provide extra financial backing to sign him under all costs. However, the African sponsors have said they are also willing to provide more funds for the acquisition of Dan Craven. Team manager, aidanvn13, had the following to say,
"Well, we've been granted the opportunity to ride in the PCT division again. Our sponsors are even more committed than before and we're looking to sign some big names. Craven and Eastman are our primary objectives for the transfer season so we'll be giving them all we've got."

@TMM: I honestly didn't realise how similar our goals were until you made that comment. Should be interesting to see how things develop, but Eastman isn't set in stone. If I can get my hands on an equal climber (anyone except Krasnoperov  ), I'll be happy.

@matt: Well thanks. I know for sure it will be better than last season. We probably won't meet much in transfers, so I guess we won't be sworn enemies come racing season.

Riders Looking for Greener Pastures?
Documents were found left behind in a conference room at the Stellenbosch team office by cleaning staff - luckily by an enthusiastic cycling fan. In these documents certain plans about some riders' 2015 season were revealed. After a season of valuable experience gained at PCT level, team manager aidanvn13 feels that some riders will need to compete at a higher level if they are to improve. Last season Johann Rabie and Jacques Janse van Rensburg both spent their time at Pro Tour team Wikipedia and have since returned with valuable experience for 2015. Rumour has it there are some others who would like to follow a similar path this season.
