It depends on the last patch. The final version should only come out after the final patch is out, even if there's a patch that fixes the biggest bug before it, since each patch usually needs compatible .cdb files.
As for an estimate, based on the last games I'd expect the last patch to be here on end of July~beginning of August, and the Expansion Pack probably some days after it.

If you haven't made a backup of the original files, you will have to re-install the game, since uninstalling the DB alone (not sure if it's possible) will delete lots of the game needed files that the DB replaced. For future reference, this pretty much goes for any DB.

can i start a career, and when a new patch comes can i still continue?
can i use the current pcmdaily pack and when the final version comes install it and maitain my career and still get the new graphics additions?
or the DB is the main thing in this, and the stuff needs the new DB to work?

Most likely yes, unless the expansion deletes/moves files (such as gfx files)

You won't get any new riders/teams/races etc that are added in the expansion. The reason is that the game creates a copy of the DB when you start a new career game, and works off that copy (it adds data as you go along, such as results, fitness, rider transfers, contracts, finances etc.)

Yes, new stuff is added to the database, which your on-going career games won't be using.

Hi my problem is that the game only use official database when i changed location of My Documents folder. Could you tell my how to fix it?
Ps. I have Steam version. |

Yeah, I don't understand it. Also, they mention it in the game manual. "Make sure not to let your co sponsor's goals interfere with your main sponsor's."
So why is it screwed up. i don't know. Probably won't be patched, we can only help it's back next year.

You mean that in game the PCMDaily DB doesn't appear as an option in the list of DBs? If yes, there are backup .cdb files in [Main PCM folder]/PCM.daily DB Backup or also in the first post of this thread. Copy the .cdb files to My Documents/PCM13/Mod/Database (or wherever the PCM13 My Docs folder is, not sure what you mean by "changed the location of My Documents folder" ).

Given on how outdated the manual is (or used to be), I wouldn't be surprised if they're talking about the 3 co-sponsors that you can sign with during January of PCM09

Hm, that seems like a strange bug, but you could try this: in your main PCM folder/Database, there's a file called "OfficialRelease.cdb". Copy the PCMDaily DB .cdb file you want to play with, rename it to "OfficialRelease.cdb" and overwrite this file.

Want to start serious career with Bontrager (it will last until last patch and Expansion pack,when i am preparing new story) , so i have to ask.
Is everything okay with U23 guys , their specialisations (i mean , are Kent's xml files included in database ,or i have to downlaod them by myself). Really strange feeling with "new" Career part of game , never entered it before (have game from first day).

No, Kent's XML files aren't included, you have to download them by yourself. But it's really easy

I have pink flags and cant see the equipment, had it since I installed the DB, starting to bother me now, does anyone know how I can get rid of it. Thanks

You can't see the equipment in the menu or in 3D? If the latter, then you might have installed it wrong. If the first, check point #2 in the first post of this thread.

What would you call "serious" ? Last patch and the Expansion Pack could be here anytime in 2 weeks to a month from now. But nevertheless, it is pretty easy to install as Jesleyh said
