Okay, Avin. He's on the waiting-list and may be added if one of the Russian or Kazakh teams need a leader. But don't count on it
I am fine with it, now that Oleg nominated his riders. We will send our scouts only, to spot some potential talents.

@Avin: Alrighty then
@all: Here's the provisional team-list, updated today. As you can see, the Kazakh teams lack some riders, so I may consider replacing one of these teams by another (as we do have several riders on the waiting-list).

I see also Greece could use some more guys, perhaps Ciprian Athanasiades could be a domestique for that team?

Looks like we have the final startlist! I will confirm this list tomorrow, but I don't think anything will change here. Tried to balance the teams as fair as possible, so some riders didn't make the "cut" (e.g. Trusov, as RusVelo will have a decent sprint-train anyway and I wanted to give Mironov a chance to be the leader for Katusha here):
Tabriz Petrochemical Team | Kazakh National Team | 1. Hossein Nateghi | 1. Valentin Iglinski | 2. Mahdi Sohrabi | 2. Aleksei Kolessov | 3. Vahid Ghafari | 3. Ulugbek Galiev | 4. Hossein Alizadeh | 4. Dmitriy Gruzdev | 5. Behnam Khalilikhosroshani | 5. Roman Senyenov | Team Astana | Mongolian National Team | 1. Assan Bazajev | 1. Erdenebayar Daspuntsag | 2. Ruslan Tleubayev | 2. Maani Altanzul | 3. Victor Shishelov | 3. Baasankhuu Myagmarsuren | 4. Nikita Umerbekov | 4. Sonomtseren Delgerbayar | 5. Alexey Lutsenko | 5. Vadim Shaekhov | 4. Ilnur Zakarin | 5. Yusuf Abrekov | 5. Alexander Rybakov | Team Katusha | Mixed African Team 1 | 1. Aleksandr Mironov | 1. Tyler Day | 2. Sergei Klimov | 2. do you mind swapping alireza ashgarzadeh in for one of my other riders as so far he has scored the most points towards the overall out of them.

Okay, sammy. But for the next time, please remember nominating your riders in order of preference: you had Alizadeh as your first Iranian

It probably was a hard day of work for Umerbekov. Great win by Bazayev. |

Bazajev probably the best sprinter here. Nice to see Van Heerden doing a brilliant job. Hope to see this more times this season. Still 6th in the end.
Also Iglinski as 11th and helper for Bazajev. Good race for Rothaus riders even though they are more helpers. |

From Oz's point of view, a nice start:my new favorite rider Delgerbayar attacks and Wen Hao Li with some unexpected points.
@roturn: Van Heerden was indeed super-strong! And his great help reminds me that i forgot to add the helpers-points in my report will add them in 2nd race!

Two good little races from the racing point of view. Very strange tactics though from SRB's rider Adil Jelloul, he doesn't seem to be working with Abdullah at all. He seems to be seeing these races as a chance to ride for his own ambitions and perhaps isn't the only one based on the racing.
Only one train is a bit disappointing with the two Africa teams surely able to construct decent ones.
The visuals are fun with a real feel of a city circuit, loved it.
