This young man from Lisbon started cycling for a local team when he was 15, and has slowly developed a fondness for the sport, finally choosing it over his original love football, since he was offered a youth spot at Sporting Lisbon..
He has an absolutely huge upside, and although he may not win much for a couple of years, he will be a star if he stays healthy...
Fave Rider: Levi Leipheimer
Fave Race: Volta ao Algarve, Vuelta Ciclista a Leon, Tour Med.
EDIT: Fixed the stats
You have 20 more points to spend (or could make your rider 2 years younger at 18yo). Also can I get a height and weight for him please along with which region of Portugal. Thanks.

Your 18 points over the limit, I love the background though! Another question and it really applies to several people, in those European countries where the game is going to ask me to chose a region rather than a whole country. I don't know which regions these towns are in and would like to get that correct for the game. If you could please specify the region. IE: Leiden, the Netherlands (South Holland)

He is 30 btw. but there my have been a reply about the points that i missed or something.
910+120 (12 years over 18)=1030
1030-80=950 (Potential)
950 that is what all my stats equal.

Oh, sorry didn't see he was 30. This is kinda stupid you can make an absolute superstar just because he's old. I doubt this story will make it past one year anyway, so kinda silly. (no disrespect, they just never seem to work)

It was not that bad wasn't it? I actually liked it, but perhaps because it was my first game.
It was plain horrible (imo). 20-rider sprint in Roubaix, 15-rider sprint at the top of the Tourmalet, no sprint trains at all in flat stages until 5 km to go when some 5/6 riders would blast past everybody at 70km/h as lead-outs.. the graphics were good, but the AI was very poor. That's why I went back to PCM 09 after some time
And it went this far (although it seems it was Focus not Cya doing this):

Indeed. If you made the race though, it would be though. But the AI depended too much on what you did. But graphics were quite good.

I dont know if is right, im a little confused with : "Each point of potential (4-8) costs 20 points. You must spend at least FOUR points here."
if i want potentital 4, i need to spend 20 points ? if i want 5 potential - 40 points , 6 potential 60 points?
Tell me if i need to edit something.
Okay, your 33 points over, and I guess I need to clear up the potential points. You have to use 80 of the points just to get to 4, 5 is 100. I'll clear that up in the original post also.

...so, 60 points over, minimum and maximum stat have a difference of 29, max is 10 (for an 18yo), and your rider is only 17 years old...

Okay, due to the disaster that is people trying to figure out this point system... and Cunego you said you would be okay with a more challenging system, this one is already too hard for people. I'm going to add in another option. Instead of you trying to figure out how to spend points, you can simply give me the background info, and what kind of rider and I'll generate some random numbers that fit.

People just don't read it clearly, and although it is a little bit confusing, the best way to do it I think would be:
- Assign 30 positions on a team, for example 5 leaders (1 cobbles, 1 TT, 1 GT etc.) and domestiques and all that.
- Then people have to apply for a position in the team by presenting a strong backstory.
- Then you either grant them or deny them entry to the team, dong the stats personally with them via private messages, with no limits or caps.
I dunno, might work, but this one still looks promising.
(Oh, and don't forget mine, which is going to start any day soon!)

I really like this idea, that prevents the squads from only having team leaders, which is quite what happens now.
