Maybe an odd question - am I allowed to send a pm to another manager expressing my interest in a rider for next season?

Wow, the vultures are already circling for my post-relegation transfers
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Lol oof, I actually just have an interest in one specific rider, and it's not one of yours Jandal if that provides any comfort

Welcome back, Tao! At a much lower wage than he demanded in renewals. Thomas is a great catch for Trans Cycling, I think. Ballsy move by VIP Mobile to buy Senechal!
Seems like there is a small mistake with Hart :S
Will check later, sorry!
Okay checked it now, the issue is resolved and the FA table is updated: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread...st_1380784
Some riders unfortunately get a little bit more expensive.
Teams that were affected by the changes:
41 Grupo Argos
43 Baku
44 Suntory
70 Polestar
82 BP
86 Brugse
Sorry about that hope it doesn't screw over any of your plans! I'll probably give 24h more anyways for this day as I won't be able to do the update on Friday night so we'll do it on Saturday at 10pm. After that we will definitely go to 24h days!
Nah, +10 for Smith doesn't hurt at all

Quick question - how much will PoY and training packs cost this year? There's a rider who I want to sign but I think it would leave me with less than 50 to spend.

Yeah that was really unlucky, Argos was leading on both talents already in the update before that's why they got them. For Geissler at least you were far off jandal's maximum so no close miss there, if that helps you feel better
Wow Argos with some. major Ineos moves buying up talent left and right

is it possible to put a rider in both a simple FA bid and as second place in a signing directives table?
that's because I'm interested in both, but if I'm losing the first one then the budget will be increased for the second one

No problem, mate, you caught it quickly! I'm still very happy with Tao's return and his new wage.
Sorry, ivaneurope, I was responsible for the Smith increase - one of my lists hadn't triggered properly, it said I was still leading on Whittaker (I'm not happy that Filiers stole a rider from our Overseas Territories ) and Smith was next on the list.
@df: Let's hear Bikex on this, but I think that should work. I definitely had the same rider in two lists before, the same back-up for two other riders.
Maybe an odd question - am I allowed to send a pm to another manager expressing my interest in a rider for next season?
It is odd. But I see no reason why you shouldn't be allowed to do that, though I wouldn't expect a definite answer.

I believe Bikex said they'd be unchanged. Look in the Checklist sticky for prices.

I made my play for Juul-Jensen since he was raised in Ireland (and I have a soft spot for him from MG), but I like how he fits into your team a lot.
Aha, you were the one I actually felt very strange bidding on Danish riders, really like I was picking away riders from you, and at the same time felt like Fabianski was fishing in my Latin American pool No worries though, I'll be staying far away from any Danish/Swiss riders in MG in the next transfer season
As for myself, I've gone basically full roleplay mode with my squad. Get whatever big name Irish and Canadian riders I can afford, even if it means big fees for guys I could have gotten cheaper in free agency.
So I've seen, even more riders from focus regions than me, nice. Also great to have the Irish champion of course, congratulations!

So much action for certain people. My transfers more or less ended on Day 0 as things stand now

No Problem Bikex - its an amazing effort from you to create this innovative transfer system and a few teething problems are to be expected. Really like this new system.
After being outbid on Sagan and Senechal, Suntory have finally hired a half decent cobbler in Juris Eisaks which was the main transfer objective.

I know there was a "probably" there, but yes, I'll put my foot down ("Not the Foot!" ) and say the next deadline is tomorrow 10 PM. The rest of Bikex's post sounded too definite.

Today is a day of waiting for me to see how much I end up having left for my last FA, so we'll just have to delay our final moves one more day.

Well, since there aren't any suitors for De Marchi, I'll be "forced" to keep him.

Will the calendar be the same as in previous years? Want to know to make sure that my planning is correct. Also one-day races count as 2 race days, right?

I would be surprised if there are any changes to the calendar, there haven't been any for years. Yes, one-day races count as 2 race days.
