Fiskars and Festina really are killing the CT. Btw did SotD do all the other tasks after he missed the first round or transfers or is Festina basically your creature, Bikex?

Well, SotD hasn't filled out the transfer sheets, but I stayed in close contact with him during the transfers and the bids made were based on a priority list he sent me. So it's still mostly his team, as he picked the riders and sometimes also the bids and I filled out the sheets for him. SotD made his race selections himself and knockout made the planning (Thanks btw, he also made the planning for some other teams).
Great team performance in the prologue. All 7 riders inside the top 35 is awesome. With two excellent prologue specialists I hoped for the stage win but it's okay as it is.
Stage 2: Festina
I blame their awesome planning for this result
Nice to see Grivko, Geyer and Engeldinger in that first elite group and the others at least stay in the big peleton.
I love the young rider classification and also the points jersey looks great.
Milano - San Remo video. I screwed a little up at the finish as it was kind of surprising how fast after the downhill it was, but everything important should be seen.
I'll post the results in the results thread in just a moment. Also the last two stages of Istrian Spring Trophy will be added.
Edit: Results now added.

What a ride! Even better in HD
Tachira is Betty's first big win for Ecopetrol after plenty of close second places.
Ecopetrol did very well as a team, too. Atapuma's 8th place in GC really surprised me. When did he decide not to completely suck anymore? Has been Ecopetrol's version of Swift for too long now.
Henao will be our guy at la Classicissima. Hoping for an attack on the Poggio, not expecting it though.
PS: Looking at Festina's results, where do I sign up for knockout's season planning next season?

My team doesn't deserve a comment longer than 10 words. And I've just written one.
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant." [ICL] Santos-Euskadi | [PT] Xero Racing
Of course Goss is the best sprinter in world cycling. How could we be so blind?
Happy with a top 10 and seeing Spokes in the breakaway to the end. Not exactly season-defining, but it's a good start to the classics campaign. I appear to have had another abandon though.

MSR a massive fail - my focus one day classic with the hopes Matthews and Cav could do well. The Cipressa seemed to do for Cav and the Poggio did for Matthews who was my best place finisher in 20th.
Well, i thoguht it would be a huge disappointment, not a rider near the front. Then 2:42, here's Danny boy! Outrageous he had to do everything alone, but what a great finish to 4th place.
I got a podium for Kittel but still I'm very disappointed by my team and the AI. Obviously, the team that gets a train is decided in a lottery. Otherwise, I cant see any reason why CSC would not form a train once again. Sagan even did some pulls with 30 km to go and Kristoff and Ciolek were not seen.
If that continues this way then I've got to fear that the WT crown will once again go to a rival team
Thanks for the video!
Istrian:
S3: Festina continues the mega show
Engeldinger (VW) 3rd and Grivko 4th on the stage and Grivko and Geyer in top spots in GC are looking great!
End: Festina with 5 guys in the Top 17 incl. the victory with a huge, huge show. Should boost them even more eventhough they were already quite decently positioned in the rankings.
My own teams were also very strong. CSC again with over 200 points alone from GC (3rd from Grivko, 7th from Geyer), Points (6th Grivko), KoM (4th Grivko), Youth ( Geyer victory) and team classification. The trend of the last years that my team was always better placed in PR than WT is likely to continue when I see these kind of performances and the remaining schedule with Senechal and GVA racing lots of CT classics
VW also profits from this race with Engeldinger showing his great talent
