Froome's data from 2007. From data alone he was going to be a very good pro rider, and one has to pay attention to the 17% body fat, which is quite chubby, I mean Betancur level 2014 chubby.
I mean doesn't prove he didn't use undetectable weight loss drugs, AICAR or something like that, but from the stats in 2007 he was going to make a very good rider ( at least on the numbers alone )

It's funny that Froome has said a couple of times his weight was about 71 kgs back then but this has him at much more than that, either Chris is lying or he just isn't that bright. I could either way on that one

Well, you know what I think of Froome, but I'm pleased to see that he's actually taken some steps to provide some much-needed transparency, I've got to give some credit to him (or is it credit to Michelle?). While it's somewhat reassuring to know that he had some talent to begin with, and obviously there was room for improvement in those numbers given his weight, it still doesn't answer two of the key questions in my head: a) the rapid weight loss and transformation between Pologne and the Vuelta in 2011, and b) my favourite Dave Brailsford graph (from 2011, pre-Vuelta of course)
Neverthless the release of data by any rider is to be applauded, even more so given Froome's high profile nature and the controversy surrounding him. If Froome is happy to release stuff like this given the suspicion around him, shouldn't it be fine for pretty much everyone else? Thibaut Pinot aside, we're lacking data from other really top pros, which would be useful in both assessing them individually and also as a basis of comparison to Froome.
With you on riders releasing data Stromeon, Pinot is clearly the exception with this and makes what Froome has released look pale in comparison and the rest of the GC riders look even worse.

I've posted this before but as it's relevant to the current data release here's the link again https://sportsscie...hysiology/
Taking the comprehensive data from Pinot means you can start to calculate what's reasonable using the triangular relationship between VO2 Max, efficiency and sustainable intensity.
However, you need this data both regularly and from multiple riders to be able to compare and get a moving picture of the information.
Oh boy, this thread is back! One of my all time favorites.
I have a really controversial video rant about Sky and why I hate them so much including a lot of stuff from here dropping a couple of hours, might as well post it here then.
Poels had similar performances on Angliru and Zoncolan in 2011 and 2014, but I think the performance of today topped it all. Pretty ridiculous from Dutchman, he seemed to close gaps without breathing and policing the best climbers like it was nothing

I wish but it won't happen. Avin killed isso and I think Aquarius ended his own life from his sorrow over that.
He rides his bike and runs alot for a guy who's took his own life (we follow eachother on Strava) The forum is poorer without him around, same goes for isso

Not this bullshit again please.
Just a joke mate, I think the rest of the post accounts for that.
Fair enough, i would just be sad if members who were not here back then would have an impression that i have forced someone out on purpose.
( my annoying personality is not my fault, i was born like that).
