Cyclingnews said that he and Mollema will both go to the Tour next year and it seems Mollema will be a super domestique. Not sure why Mollema resigned then knowing this was a possibility.
I think that its the best thing to happen to Mollema, he's never going to win a Tour so knowing he will be playing dom to Contador at the Tour hopefully means he will focus on trying to do something in the 1 week races and go stage hunting if Contador falls apart.

Schlock isn't that bad tho, he is one of Trek's best riders uphill and Im sure Contador would like to have him on the squad, they showed the pictures over and over with him and Frankie prior to his abandon.
That's not much of an achievement is it?
Frank is done and really shouldn't be offered another contract, also with any luck he will finally be linked to a Puerto blood bag as all that's happened so far is he said he paid Fuentes for a "training plan" which is a straight up lie. If he gets named then nobody would even consider touching him

If Frank gets a contract next season then surely Hell has frozen over, pigs are flying, the Easter bunny and tooth fairy are real and Trump is president.
Pigs do fly, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter bunny are real and with Trump, don't freaking jinx it!!!
Apart from that Trek is working hard on having the oldest squad on the WT.
They'll need Schleck since Cancellara quits.
Van der Poel to Sky...guess we'll see him as mountain domestique in a few years.

Considering Contador is going to Trek, some lower levels doms in the mountain alá Kiserlovski is well worth a contract IMO. Especially since, as I said, they seem to be good friends.

Should just have continued. If I feel bad for anyone, it was Klödi.
Yeap, I won't bother to find proper quotes I said here during that stage, but I definitely was a rare advocate for Kloden to sucker punch Contador after stage.

even he knows that the team can't be happy with 9th in the tour two years in a row
“Michael Matthews is not coming back to this team next year,” said White, confirming the 25-year-old’s departure, "but who did we work for?"
Well that finally confirms what we all knew and Matthews is leaving OBE at the end of the season. I still think he will sign for Giant-Sunweb which is great for both rider and team as Matthews gets away from Gerrans and gets dedicated support and good for Giant as they need a replacement for some departing stars.

Tinkov on norwegian TV says he thinks Sagan already has signed with Bora-Hansgrohe. Since it's Oleg, chances are that he's only joking, but at least it's something.

Sagan's (and now Tinkov's at Tour) personal soigneur Maroš Hlad in interview for sport.aktuality.sk:
"There are rumours that Oleg has found a new partner so he won't leave from cycling as he was saying. Maybe he just needs to get rid of some riders, but i don't know that.
In team there are two groups, one creates best conditions for Sagan and the other one for Contador. It's interesting that in the last period the other people in the team agree with us(Sagan group). But it's just in some of the inside-of-team decisions, otherwise we are great team at Tour, unlike at some other races."
And we all know that Oleg likes more Sagan than Contador...
It would make sense though with Vanmarcke leaving.
Is Boom still going back to riding cross aswell?

Heard on Danish television, while they were quoting some trustworthy media that Astana had signed contracs with two Danish riders, one climber and a puncheur, guesses were that they were talking about Jesper Hansen and Michael Valgren.
