Not really transfer related, but I can't deny you guys a good laugh. I've put 2 cobbled classics goals on the same day and I've put 2 sprint classic goals on the same day. A good thing I couldn't double book my rankings goal!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Very nice, you should receive extra points/budget for it, amazing stuff!

Ooof Olly!
The change up of some race dates + new races impacting potential race clashes depending on band choices to confuse/complicate further meant that it was a trap that some could potentially fall into. Calendar planner man must have a devilish little twinkle in his eye I'm sure that somone has been snagged .

Those late bidwars for young talents Sosa/Higuita/Kämna/Sivakov are really interesting to watch. It reminds me when I "won" Pierre Latour in silent auction for 400k two seasons ago

These talents were coming out a lot cheaper than in previous seasons. It's good that someone pays the money they might one day deserve

Easy to say when you got Almeida sealed before the rush

It is true that I was very lucky with Almeida, but if I had to pay well to have it then I would have paid.
Of course we all want riders as cheaply as possible, but I also tell you that what you are offering now is more or less the same as what you paid for identical riders in previous seasons

About time "Million Dollar Man" Barrio got a contract. That move a few years ago will always go down as my worse transfer fee paid in Man-Game history.

Talent prices are always all over the place! Some early in the window didn't go for much at all but it does also seem to be a nationality thing.
For example, last year I signed Aranburu (Max at 77MO/77HIL) for 220,000 (good ole bidding war with Mre) while I signed Jakobsen (max at 80SPR/80ACC) and Conci (max at 77MO 74HIL 77TT) for 90,000 each.
A bit of luck is definitely involved if you manage to get them early and they slide under the radar or if teams are waiting on bigger Leader FAs and can't risk the bet on a talent earlier in the window.

I want to come here really quick and express my gratitude that, among the general level of craze over the last few talents, nobody went and overbid me on Valentin Madouas anymore!
200k isn't as cheap as I would've liked (although still quite a lot better than what's going on elsewhere), but I see a big future ahead for my #1 FA target this season.
In particular as his schedule for maxing out aligns quite well with the training ineligibility of Demare and the time where I need to move my squad forward.
At the moment I'm very much in favor of the path where he maxes out with 74 flat, 75 mountain, 77 hill and 73 sprint/acceleration.
This lethal allround combination, especially with how I expect the AI to work nowadays, should provide a great foundation for puncheur training further down the road, his final form could be very Ponzi-like!

Not at all surprised to see you pick up Madouas cio, just your kind of rider!
I looked at him as an option before I went for Gesbert instead, and given that they both went for 200k, I'm happy with my choice of Gesbert - but can certainly see the appeal of Madouas.

Madouas #1 FA target for you when Kämna still available? Hard to believe...

Y'all murdered my boy with that 71 hill!
And I still was certainly about to bid on him right after I sealed Madouas, just to see him skyrocket...
Thanks SN! It is quite nice to know I have established a brand of sorts by now.
And Gesbert has really benefited of that late secondary stats increase for most talents just before transfers, although I got a bit cautious of how that will eventually affect RD and wage compared to the actual benefits in game.
And yeah, sprint stat above everything!

Madouas is awesome and I love how you plan to develop him there!
