Tvetcov didnt lose time to his closest rivals, hope he can continue this, Richardson with a nice 4th, but we can do better!

Great comeback from Berhane. Very interesting for the GC battle. I have to say tough, that it is quite underwhelming to see the same three riders performing above the rest in every MTF, when there is such a diversity of good climbers.
Nevertheless I'm glad to see Reis holding his 6th place. And congrats to the minions. Huge victory for them.

Good to see that Winner haven't lost it completely. Obviously it would have been better not losing time on Berhane but I'm very content if he can just keep the podium to the end.
Won't complain if he finds second wind and gains some time on Anton though as the TT could become a problem.

Less gaps and less decisive than expected, but an awesome ride by Berhane. Fear at least Quintana will pass Penasa soon what makes it more and more important this Kononenko guy shows some weakness.

Our second stage win here is even better than our first considering it was Zoidl that got it. I knew that if he could get into a break then he would get the stage win as he is such a versatile rider and to see him jump up the GC at the same time was brilliant.
Zardini showing he is the strongest puncheur in the race gives me hope that we can tame the remaining hilly stage to get a third stage win or at least see him gain back time there.
Hopefully Zoidl sitting in 16th on GC means he won't lose too much time on the coming mountain stages as it would be great to see him use his TT skills to make up some more ground and join Zardini in the top 15, or at least maintain his top 20 place.

Not gonna Lie, slightly dissapointed that this is more and more looking like a 4th place without any stageswins.
But, nice to get some points in the relegation battle atleast..

Every little gain helps! Stage 19 will likely be disastrous, so if Berhane can use the hills to gain again, and grab that race lead, that would be great - and probably vital.
Having loaned him last year, it's impressive to see how well Barton has been riding all race.

Finally - a breakaway win!
Nicácio, with his second, such a contrast to last year. Unbelievable race he is having, genius tactics by the veteran there, let the others fight for the KOM points and use the engine to power away close to the finish. Up to 15th in GC aswell. Dream race for him.
Bonsucro fans are going to be happy tonight ... |

Dammit, losing time sucks, losing 10th and 11th is even worse... At least Popovych seems quite stable, and that top 5 should be salvagable.

Another one intense stage with another rider repeating a stage victory. Congrats The Rider! I obviously like ve to see Nicacio doing so well.
Good stage for Berhan and Anton. The top of the GC is really suffled now, which makes for quite an interesting ending to this beautiful race. Great to see Reis gaining time on Popo as well!

Good stage here by Anton. Podium is definetely possible considering the remaigning stages.
Btw, Anton seems to be doing much better in dh finishes than on mttf for some reason, which id weird considering his 64 dh
Nicacio with quite the comeback here, happy to see bonsucro breaking another streak here.

Here I thought we had turned the corner, and our guys were going to start racing, then we go back to just sitting and doing nothing watching as others gain time... I'm still not sure if Quintana knows he is our GC guy, he keeps getting beat by teammates on mountain stages...

Zardini's jump up the GC is great as it shows he is still in form and still looking good which is great to see in the third week, and seeing Penasa in the group with him and also jumping is very nice too as Vontobel do need a good race here.
Zoidl keeping in the main bunch and keeping his top 20 and not losing ground to the top 15 is the Icing on the cake considering how strong he should be in the TT.
