What a year for Henao as well. Looking forward to seeing him next year, much stronger.
Where he will lead in...
Oh wait... nothing.
Ardennes ? Giro ?
He's going to Giro defs. Will co-lead along Wiggins if he comes. If not, he'll lead.
He's going with Uran and JTL as their Ardennes leaders.

Uran's not doing Giro next year. Tour for him.
As well, Henao will lead in races like Pais Vasco, Cataluyna. He'll have his chances

Yes I know. But Uran will surely be the Ardennes leader and Wiggins will (probably) lead at the Giro.
Yes he will get races like Pais Vasco and Catalunya (though even them I'm sceptical about given how many big riders need to be leading in races for Sky next year) to lead in, but at most other teams he would get a shot at GT leadership to target the young rider jersey and a top 5 or so.

Hard to say.
Uran is slightly allergic so he might not feel great, depends on the weather in those months. Also he never does Amstel ( didn't do it for 2 years in Sky ).
So Henao will lead there along EBH. Fleche Wallone suits Henao more than it does Uran imo, so there's another chance. LBL is the only one I can see Uran having full lead really.
It's not 100% sure Wiggins will do Giro, but if he does - then yeah. Still, Wiggins could crack on those steep finishes. So you never know.

I don't see Amstel being a particularly good course for him, particularly if they change the finishing line. Fleche I agree is better for him than Uran.
But yeah I guess I'm just a bit pissed off that such an obvious talent in the sport, who could have GT leadership in almost any other team, will spend almost his entire season working for other riders because the team is so wedded to its British leaders.

Great win from Purito Rodriguez, and a Spanish-speaking podium this time in Il Lombardia.
Really looking forward to the Sky Colombian duo performances next year in the Ardennes. |

Found a few pictures from the final climb.
Looks like Henao was the second strongest climber after Purito.

That looks like Uran to me in the background of that picture. |

Yep. He also set the fastest time ever on Muro di Sormano ( 9:20 ). Nice bonus at least along his 5th
Man, one of last races in calendar and 3 months of slight boredom await... ( racing wise )

I may be wrong. I think that it looks like Henao though.

Wouldn't change a thing. Even when Wiggins cracks/can't follow, riders who are clearly stronger than him stay behind to help him just because that was what was decided before the race.
As for the race, I initially thought the rain could make it more exciting, but it just fucked up in the end Crashes everywhere, and we had 10 secs of footage from the basically only place where big action happened. Nevertheless, great win for J-Rod, concluding a brilliant year for him

Henao has been showing some great glimpses of form as the season starts to draw to a close, lets hope he starts next year the same way |
