Draft Order
May 2019 Draft
The draft order for the May Draft stands. Despite having some of the worst odds, Shonak will pick first ahead of kandesbunzler after having the best numbers by a significant margin. TMM will be third if he continues the game. Down the ladder FreitasPCM had a really shitty draft, same for me this time as well.
| 1 | Shonak | | 2 | kandesbunzler26 | | 3 | TheManxMissile | | 4 | trekbmc | | 5 | df_Trek | | 6 | AbhishekLFC | | 7 | cio93 | | 8 | jandal7 | | 9 | redordead | | 10 | jaxika | | 11 | Aquarius97 | | 12 | Croatia14 | | 13 | FreitasPCM |
The draft will start tomorrow at 21:21 daily time. Shonak will have 21 hours to make his pick, afterwards the draft rights will move to kandesbunzler. Have some nice days scouting!

5th in the UCI Junior Road World Championships Road Race in 2017.
2nd in Kattekoers and 3rd in Trofeo Piva in 2018.
3rd in Ronde van Vlaanderen Beloften, 3rd in Eschborn–Frankfurt Under–23 and 5th Overall in Le Triptyque des Monts et Châteaux this year.
Member of the Groupama-FDJ Continental Team (which will make it easier for him to accustom in my team, meeting his teammates Alexys Brunel and Ziga Jerman).
And still just 19 years old.
Welcome in my team

This guy doesn't fit my team so far whatsoever in terms of nationality, but he's way too good to pass up. With a win in the U23 Liege-Bastonge-Liege and coming so close to holding off the pack to win stage 1 of the Tour of Yorkshire that he still got 18th in the bunch, as well as finishing 21st overall in an elite field.
Being only 18 years old, there's no question this guy will be the next hyped up American set to become the next Dombrowski/Van Garderen/Phinney...
The next addition to Basso's honourary team is:

15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

A very tough choice for me here. Some more proven sprinters on the market, but Welten is enough for me. So sad to see Stokbro go between draft periods btw. For this one I took a little bit of an unproven property (not many junior results) but maybe the most consistent performer in the Italian U23 April classics, who has also done well in the Carpathian stage race and the Giro dell'Appenino. Let's welcome to my team...

Andreas Leknessund the new Norwegian ITT champion. Gotta say he’s my favorite pick and really liking his progression this season. |
