Lol nice co-leadership by BMC, Porte's attack is what lost TVG for good |

Superbly tactical from Quintana. Doing absolute nothing while Froome for past two days loosing bits of energy with his antics. You might dislike it now, but when 3rd week comes Quintana will be superior.

Hm yea stage and comb and Movistar's + Quintana's conservatism. I don't they do the right thing do, wait to Ventoux and kill Froome. |

What is Thomas doing this TdF? He hasn't done any work at the front and then gets dropped by Henao's pace/attacks.

Quintana will not lose 3 mins on Froome in the TTs, that's for sure.

If Majka is worst human being than Porte is definitely the dumbest. Either should have attacked or sat on wheels of Froome/Quintana so that TvG can come back, but no he had to do the worst thing possible and set the tempo. |

I think you'll be mildly surprised by Nairo in the TTs

Not much from Movistar and Sky, don't really think the climb today was quite as tough as it was made out to be but interesting from everybody else, especially Yates being right up there and I can't help being happy with Porte despite his terrible tactics, given he's Australian but more for BMC.

I really enjoyed watching this stage, love the bad weather . On another note, I thought the camera guys had a bad day, IMO they spent too much time on Dumoulin and Majka when behind the GC race was unfolding. When the gap is 45 seconds with 4 km to go, everyone knew Dumoulin was going to take the stage, they can quit showing Majka/Costa. Then they cut to each of the breakaway riders finishing, like when Anacona takes sixth they cut away mid-attack. Not a big fan of that, don't care who finishes the stage sixth, only 1-3rd if its a breakaway win.
I think Martin and Mollema both went too deep/attacked too often and it hurt them both later. It will be interesting to see if Quintana drops Froome once he eventually attacks, I hope he does

You underrate Quintana's TT ability. And there's Ventoux before. And Quintana adapts much more to Ventoux that to this pseudo-climb. |

Dumoulin has won a stage in each of the last 3 GT's (Vuelta 2015, Giro 2016 and now Tour 2016) |
