Well, not that great result from Hirt, quite a pity that he lost that much time in the final kms. Hopefully this is the minimum what I can expect from him in future mountain stages. Also nice to see Vysna being active, although it resulted into nothing.
Chen getting a top 10 result is a nice bonus, although his position at one point before the sprint was that great that I was hoping for even more than a 8th place from the stage. Still every point gained here is a great result for him.

Another nice sprint result. Getting a 6th place is huge for Becis and Mansilla also finished 10th which is still nice to see. Im a bit confused why becis joins sprints over Dzamastagic though.
Congrats to Demare who dominates the sprints here. Huge race for him.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Démare continues his dominance, which probably is about to do wonders for Puma's overall rank too. I know cio pre-season said it didn't matter, but Démare does. Though, looking at a couple of vomments from cio during the season, I'm pretty sure it does
Congratulations again, cio! And also congratulations to roturn, with Groenewegen finally showing himself. |

It needed two sprinters less in the race to get Groenewegen being rated a sprinter ... A pity it was 15 days too late and 250-400 points less than he should have had.
It was a close fight between similar strong sprinters. Demare with less team protection work surely had the energy advantage. Simply the strongest and most complete here. |

Had hoped for Stake Laengen to be closer to the top 10, but oh well. Nothing fancy for us in the TT.
A string performance from Amador though ... Can he pull of a surprise win here? I'm guessing Bushwackers is nervous at least, with a win here they probably should be safe from relegation as well. Andy has been looking great though, and remembering the Vuelta from last year, he won't give up easily!

So Abal is back at top 10! Will be tough to keep that neverthless.
Great stage result by T Ludvigsson aswell.
Amador with some nice result there, congrats bush! |

Bongiorno still set up nicely for a couple of breaks.
I hope Schleck won't top 3 for another day in ciclamino and a miniscule chance to win it, and in general it'll be interesting to see what the lead change will mean for the balance between Schleck and Amador.

Great ride by Fraile there! I figured Amador would gain about a minute, and he does and goes into the lead. It's nice but I really dont expect to have a chance to win with the way Schleck's been riding. It is still exciting because I'm not sure if Amador has been this close to winning a GT before.
This has been a great race roturn, thank you for your effort.

This was probably the best chance we would have to win a stage in this race, unfortunately we are once again only very close to achieving it.
Cattaneo manages to gain time for all the opponents in the fight for the top 10, now I hope he can keep a good shape and get to that goal...

With Docker it can't even be funny. I'm too scarred.

Missed the last few stages. The TT was decent enough but Machado is for sale!
Thanks for all the reports so far and congrats on that semi-result from Dylan. Think I'm going to join you in that relegation acceptance plan.

I don't believe it! Something good actually happened this season. Well done by Omar Fraile to get his first-ever GT stage win. Well deserved.

That was frustrating. The one stage where Dekker looked super strong and ready to win the stage and gain time in the top10 fight, Amador is going crazy with some weird tactic, ruining it for both, me and bushwackers.
Tough stage. |

Very strange, and very heartbreaking
In hindsight, a good decision by bongiorno to not join the early break, although his eventual attack attempt also went nowhere.
15th overall is decent though and I'd take that. There's still hope that the next stages play out differently.
Congrats Andy Schleck on winning at least one jersey now. Too bad it's impossible for sprinters to take it home.

Smith too weak to join a break und Morton just being Morton. Can only hope for things to stay like they are now. Wouldn't be too shabby after all, even though we fail to score any points through stages.

????????? What the hell??????
That was the dumbest move I have ever seen, he just threw away the entire Giro. I can't even begin to understand why the AI would think that makes sense.
I dont understand.

This actually makes me sad about the RL Andy Schleck, he's only 33, should still be contending!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Wow, what Amador just did there? And suddenly it is almost impossible for Andy Schleck to lose this race... Feel really sorry for this Bushwackers, was really hoping Amador could somehow take this one...
Really happy with Hirt, another 3rd place and well inside the top 10 overall, really looking forward to the last two mountain stages.
