This was one of the few chances for a stage win for us/Kolesnikov, we should have cracked the remaining sprinters in the final 30km, too bad we didn't...

Nice to see Kwiatek on the attack and grab a 6th place, unfortunately not gaining any time for his efforts though. |

Nice
Demare and Van Stayen once again showing that they are the two dominant sprinters here on these hilly stages. Luckily, this time the better end for me again.
Quite cool to see Villella stepping up for the disappointing De Bie!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Not the best stage for Dall'Oste to gain KOM points, but the man wants to fight!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

The breakaway AI is seriously flawed. The same riders go out day after day. So far I have been in 1!!! BotD throughout the entire season.

Yeah, it sucks major time, i have one designated guy (Tanovitchii) and nobody else will jump into them during whole season bar one or two rare occasions. And even he does it very rarely. Meanwhile in this Giro, there are 3-4 guys who will be in 10-15 breaks during whole race and almost nobody else will have his chance. It just one of many flaws of the game which get worse and worse with every edition.
Anyway, the good Giro for us continues, still in the pink and that is all that matters. Now the two key stages ahead of the peloton and we need to hold onto that pretty jersey. Obviously Alarcon is to man to watch out for, Pluchkin should unleash the beast from the inside and for a change beat him in the mountains.
Congrats knockout, i guess you will beat majority of GC teams here in terms of points...bad GT team they sad.

I can't even be bothered. Cattaneo still injured - the Giro is over. |

Wow. No words. I can only hope he's not hurt.
So it looks like the PT rankings goal is the only one we can reach this season (and Top 10 is still very optimistic there...). I'm not looking forward to transfers. That'll be a disastrous budget.

Perfect stage. Henao wins the stage and gains one spot in the GC, Brambilla keeps his place in the top 10 and we extend the lead in the team rankings.

Thought we were gonna get the stage win there so to see us get leapfrogged in the GC was a disappointment but hey-ho, probably won't decide it.

It`s really great to see my two maxed riders Villella and Olivier being on a stage podium in their first maxed GT.
Olivier with a very good day finally showing that he is capable of PT racing already. Hopefully those days are more often than the bad ones.
Feel sorry for the crash victims. Hopefully Kolesnikov and Nerz aren`t injured and only lost time today. Being 2-3min down could actually be a good sign that it`s not more.
Thanks for the report! |

Feel sorry for especially cio93 and OlegTinkov, but also of course CrueTrue, eventhough Cattaneo was out of the GC battle duo to crashes earlier in the race. Admittedly also worrying to read Holst Enger went down twice.
Brave try by Guldhammer! It could have been successful like Wellens the other day, but the other GC guys were having none of it. A pity to miss out on a few seconds at the end, but still a sign from Guldhammer that he's feeling well on the climbs.
Congratulations, alexkr00, quite an unexpected stage win! Seems like there are other riders capable of challenging for the mountain stage wins, not only the top three.
And thank you again for the consistent reporting, sgdanny |

König clearly isn't up to it in a fight against other leaders. I really hope I will see him in an attack in the second half of this race... Unfortunate to see so many good riders going down. But well, that is cycling...

I know they arent all that interesting, but it bugs me a bit that both of my top 20 candidates lost 5min without any sort of notice. I have Zero idea where my riders are and whether they are crashing or held up by crashes/splits or just underperforming heavily.

Not a very convincing showing from Pluchkin, but what a stage from our luxury domestique Karnulin, hanging there with favourites and even outsprinting his captain!
I guess this stage was not hard enough for Big3, but the next one looks so much harder, that is where Pluchkin should strike with some of the saved energy from yesterday.
Feel bad for managers of crashing riders like Nerz or Kolesnikov, Cattaneo seems to be in pure hopeless mode, but maybe he can try something in one of the last stages.
Thanks for the report and congrats Alex, very nice days for your team!
