Few things that occured to me yesterday evening when watching the highlights of that stage.
Sagan wins - this guy is fantastic, really pleased to see him win. I think Tinkoff is a bit of a dick but Sagan is a star and his team worked hard to bring break back for the sprint. Sagan is a master at getting in front position of train. Let's be honest Degenkolb isn't the fastest in a flat one so not sure Giant train works for him here against Sagan unless Sagan misses his wheel.
Bouhanni - Millar felt he should have been kicked out for the bottle grab.
It isn't for me quite the same as the Nibali - acceleration bottle grab situation but you can see why Nibbles feels victimised in some way.
Finally Chaves is a really refreshing leader. Just a happy guy getting steadily better with each GT he races. He faded somewhat at the Giro this year - I think he got sick (mind you pretty much everyone does in a GT!). Let's see if he can kick on, Orica don't seem to be able to go deep into latter stages of GT very well - mind you Yates bro's did quite nicely at end of Tour.
He was very impressive on stage 2 - not sure today is quite for him. Degenkolb should be up there in his form for short uphill slogs this year - Sagan I think too or is it harder than it looks like most Vuelta uphill endings?
@SSJ2Luigi - they do realise it's the Tour de France game in the picture?
@Nibali discussion - Personally I think a DQ is to harsh, as he did gain no advantage from it, it wasn't his fault he crashed, a 2 minute time penalty, a fine and a warning for next time is the correct response.
And no, you can't say he gained an advantage on the riders with him, as they weren't interested in catching, it showed them riding easy later.
@Stage 2 - Chaves is one of my favourite riders at the moment, a really great win, and good to see Dumolin up there.
Damn, I really like Chaves. Had hoped for more in the Giro, but turns out he just hid in and dog it out for the Vuelta! I don't remember who I was arguing with over Chaves not standing a chance in the top-10 - I know its early, but... he can definetely still crack in Andorra.
