Uhuh, nice to see Gallopin taking a win already, very decent shape of him. Wonder if he'll play any role this year in Ardennes, mhm. Overall, Lotto Soudal has had a very good start to the season so far.

Apart from maybe Amstel, which really suits him, I suspect he will be working for Vanendert (though Vanendert was 2nd in Amstel last year so maybe even there too).

Vanendert is still their leader for the Ardennes, and I think he's earned that. However, I see Gallopin as more of a wildcard. If he's on a good day, he will attack.

Avanti's Patrick Bevin wins the fourth and final stage of the 2015 Jayco Herald Sun Tour up Arthurs Seat ahead of Orica GreenEDGE's Cameron Meyer and Simon Clarke. Even with time bonuses on the line Bevin was unable to gain enough time to reverse his deficit to Meyer in the General Classification, so Cameron Meyer secures the overall race victory.

Bevin you beast! Great to see him doing well and beating some big names in the sprint
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Watched the race after coming 4th (2 seconds behind 3rd) in a TT up. Will post some photos I took from the race later.
Great Race with that sprint, although the announcer said the wrong rider.

Rojas won a race??
Are you sure there wasn't a break of three who had already finished and that he didn't get 4th? |

I've only just recovered from the shock of J.J. Rojas winning the opening stage of the Tour of Qatar. During that time Bob Jungles apparently walked away with the fifth and final stage of Etoile de Bessèges along with with the overall race victory ahead of Tony Gallopin.

Now I know there are differing levels of form and motivation in Qatar but credit where credit's due I never would've backed Rojas against Bouhani, Demare, Sagan, Guardini, Boonen, Kristoff, Haussler even.
Don't think any of his previous few wins have been against any comparable opposition |
