Ah! For a moment it looked like Per was going to take it, but he just ran out of gas at the very last. He was much more active today than Strada, and maybe that had an impact on his finishing ability.
A podium is another really great result for Per though, who has been off to a good start here this season. Cobbles is an area where we need consistent points if we want to have any hope of staying up, and so far, so good.
Congrats to Aker on more domination, and thanks for the reports!

Wow, what a start this has been to our cobbles season!
Thank you for the report, Imladrik!
Thrilled to see Wisniowski get that big win this early on the cobbles. Combined with another top performance by Anderberg, and also a very strong Potts, it makes for another big points race for us, as I think we went close to 400 points here too. That's massive for our season. Can't expect us to continue this great, but the start has been lovely, with big depth scorings adding to Wisniowski/Anderberg working wonders. Especially the latter I hope will continue, as it could be key in the upcoming classics as well.
Also, congratulations to Evonik and knockout on a brilliant race for them, and also to bbl, with Per proving very consistent with his 2/2 podium places so far in the classics. What a flyer of a season Carlsberg is having so far!
Have to be pretty happy with that one! Finkler in the breakaway, Ovsya in 16th and Hesters also in the Top 30. Good little points haul from Ovsya and the young fellas.
Well, it's good we weren't here for any points Strategically, these long range attacks aren't the way to go for Stallaert, as was the case in Strada Appia Antica. But as long as that doesn't translate to the PTHC/HC races ...
Congrats to ember, very good start to the season for your cobbles squad indeed. Strong performances from Per and Polanc, too! And thanks for the great report, of course
Congrats to Aker, what a cobbles opening for you! RvV next to make the triple?
Good try by Schmid as well, I guess 29th is a pretty good race for him in a cobbles race. Less successful by Theuns, though, no clue what was lacking in the end. One of the best puncheurs up there, not shabby at all on the cobbles, and a good sprinter - hopefully just a bad day. No clue what happened to Gerts, though, awful result.
8th is a great result for Salzmann in any field, helped of course by this perhaps being one of the better suited routes to his skillset. Thanks for the report!
