Nothing, as expected, but that's what happens when you gamble for the break. Incredible race for Moser and especially Elco, as much as SotD may talk them down they still look like podium contenders.
Great report, was a really fun read!
I'll be very happy (and surprised) if we can pull this team towards a top 3. I can't really see how that should came about though when the only rider that can potentially score 1000 points is Coquard.
It would require A LOT of these fluke results from my greek domestiques - But I can live with that!

Fun outing, if a little boring from us.
Congrats to Roman and thanks for the report

Good to have Ballerini join the breakaway. Preidler did what you could expect, I guess, just inside the top 20.
Congratulations on the win, Roman! |

A very calm race by De Bie, which made me worry a lot about his daily form. In the end though not attacking early was smart as it all came back together again.
Losing to Sagan is not ideal but obviously fully okay seeing the stats. Beating all others is great as I can`t complain a lot about 2nd here when MAL was there as well. He surely a victim of too early attack and then being the first in the wind later on.
McCarthy on a high right now, seems to have a solid start to the season and wow to the ELCO duo. Koretzky about as expected, Kastrantas having an enormous form here while SN surely enjoys seeing Valter up there following the top level puncheurs Frank Schleck and Ben Gastauer.
A few surprising results in the top20 then while my own team support was dropped a bit too early it seems. Vansevenant in 35th is a nice level 3 performance while Barbin in 45th is a bit too far behind, same 77th for Denz or 124th for De Kleijn. A bit more support would have been great in the later sections.
Thanks for the report and congrats Roman. |

I was very happy to see Quita and Sirironnachai close to the front towards the end, so them finishing 21st and 24th was a bit disappointing. Still, it's an acceptable result considering our expectations. Congrats, Roman and thanks for the nice report, Imladrik! |

Not a good Evonik team performance. Lopez was isolated too early despite having most of my better support rider here and he didnt play it well strategically with all those too early attacks. Gotta say, out of all the races in the season, this is the one where we least could use chaotic wind situations, eating away a lot of the (already triple header reduced) man power of our team. 4th is still alright even if we hoped for more
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Good outing by Gradek to show our colours, as was the goal here. Sagan a deserving winner, I reckon. Congrats Roman and thanks for the report, Imladrik!

We tried in the break. Have to be happy enough with that, even though I had hoped for a little bit more from Van der Poel from the peloton. Congrats to Roman on the win!

Toms Skujins as top 2 favorite finishing 29th is crazy bad. Thanks for the report Imladrik, I really like the big overview pictures of the peloton.
