Awesome! 13 seasons on, and back at the top spot. Pivoting in transfers to a stronger TTT set up already this year has an immediate positive outcome. I can look forward to the two other TTTs these same 8 riders will be doing together this season!

Hmm that was a bit underwhelming. After the 0-pointer in Africa we now have two-in-a-row.

We need to pick up the pace soon.

Fourth is not where I hoped to be, and Generali's weak time makes me suspect the final block might've been at a disadvantage.

Although I also couldn't realistically have planned with more than third place here, which makes this a negligible loss in the long run.
Still, a there are quite a few more TTTs this season that I would've preferred to go into with a more positive trend.


Congrats SN! It was intriguing to see you assemble this TTT team around Wirtgen in the off-season, and I rightfully deemed it a smart strategy that already paid off early on! Smile

And thank you for the report Nemolito!

A really solid result, looks like it was a good decision to send all the best TT guys here and not wasting their RDs in chase of a stage result in Portugal.

I knew not bringing Kritskiy was a risk and it cost us the victory but still a nice 2nd place. Very nice screenshots Nemolito!
