Wow, that was a brilliant race! Really enjoyed that
And congratulations on the win, viking90. And who knows, Ahlstrand should be a contender for the real "deal" as well, though, seeing how this went, it will be wide open with lots of potential winners, which is great. |

Latvia making the race exciting
If only the other selectors hadnt picked pure sprinters, Skujins could have been amongst the top favourites
Brilliant ride by Smukulis though
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Yeah, "we" keep on showing that we should belong in the A Worlds from the start |

Good call
Kovalev has been awesome for us all season, happy to see him perform as part of the WC winning TTT

Not a bad effort there from Cornu and the Beligum team but the others were just much stronger!

Wonderful B race, makes it very interesting for the A race. Congrats on the victory viking!
Sad farewell for Portugal at the TTT event, but good enough for a top10 so it's actually job well done.
Thanks for the reports, guys!

The 'B' race was highly compelling both in terms of racing on display and reporting - great job! Hope for just as high quality racing in the premier event. Congrats of course to Viking; getting Ahlstrand into the 'A' race is also a good outcome of this result, and he is worthy of being on the favourites list even in that event.
TTT a little depleted by some of the key riders/nations not having been fully nominated. All the same, a classy win for Russia, so congrats to the respective riders managers, and of course head cheer-leader OlegT whose sterling work over the years has built up such a strong TT-base in that nation.

Wow, I must admit I really wasn't expecting Maccagli to win here and it feels like an upset. He won't be able to go on to the same level that previous winners have achieved but he should still be a god riders for us.

7th and 14th from two *** favorites isn't really worth a comment.

Nice effort from Scotson. Quite close to the podium though, so also a bit unlucky after all.
Thanks for the coverage, by the way!

Pumped to see Vanderpool ride solidly in the U23ITT, nicely in the mid-field is just great for a female
The TT's overall feel like they've suffered a bit through missing riders, not quite the grand showdowns the WC's normally are. But you can only beat who turns up, so well deserved Golds for Russia and Coppel who would have been in the mix regardless.
Time for the real action now! U23 and Elite Roads... bring it on

Convincing from Coppel, which had to be expected in Phinney's absence.
Though, I thought the course was meant to match the road race circuit? Obviously, the winner would have been the same, maybe even with a bigger time gap, but I suspect riders like Taaramäe and others would have excelled on such an undulating course compared to this, which seemed to be pan flat, judging by the profile picture at the top of the report.
And thank you for a very nice report, Marcovdw! |

8th is probably about right from Vlatos, but would have loved to see him snatch a lucky medal or atleast a top 5.

Dominant from Coppel. Great win. Had hoped for better from Würtz, but oh well, at least he will be better next season.

If the Elite RR goes to a sprint i'll be surprised, it's a perfect late attack course apparently. Still, makes for exciting racing and a very worthy U23 Champion

Yep, very interesting racing this parcours has brought so far. Cool to see Oliveira conquer a spot in the top10 as well, wasn't expecting that.
